I'm saying that you have a 50% chance of getting competent medical treatment in prison. There are no checks or balances. There are no second opinions unless you have money and good attorneys. You have medical staff who are overworked and would rather be working elsewhere. It's just the way it is.
Re: Gangland 1/28
So are you agreeing with me? Because that's the point I was trying to make. That the treatment he Gets is probably substandard at best. I dnt Believe For One Sec they Get the Johnny sac treatment.dack2001 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 8:36 am I'm saying that you have a 50% chance of getting competent medical treatment in prison. If you got insight into how Healthcare for incarcerated men like Patsy I encourage you to share it bc I have no first hand information at all regarding it.
Re: Gangland 1/28
When I was the military and had to capture HVTs the Healthcare they got when they were in our FOBS, Camps, outposts etc they got far better care then we got. And if they had intel on some terror cell, forget about it. They had doctors on 24 hr stand by; I mean I can continue my rant by I will digress and say my opinion of Healthcare amongst the institutionalized is piss poor-as I am biased bc my experience weights heavily on my opinion. All and All terrorists get better Healthcare then they do!!!
Re: Gangland 1/28
Most people in prison can't get necessary testing until it's too late. That goes from stomach pain to back pain to a tooth ache to mental illness. More testing means more dollars spent. More than half of the prison population is on some type of drug that alters the normal function of the brain. I'm not against mental health meds, but many of the guys in prison are doped up. They are terrible self-reporters and they have no chance when they have acute pain. I've read through prison personnel files and the medical treatment, while they get it, is not sterling in any respect. I would call it sub-standard in most respects and terrible if you have any type of condition more complex than strep.
