I think that might be the case where they were not demoted, but really didn't have any soldiers per say. Of course I could be wrong on that, but there is still a heavy Italian presence on Federal Hill.

As for Baby Shacks Wiseguy I agree, I think he is still on restrictions anyways plus it seems he stepped back a good bit when he was locked up. Is Matty Gugs still listed as a capo? I'm not sure he even had a crew left to come home to anyways.
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

I was just in Federal Hill, I didn't see much Italian presence there other than a few shops and restaurants. It was mostly Ricans and Asians. You sure there's still Italians there Dixie?

Some articles still cite him as a captain but that may just be because that was his last known rank before he went to prison. Not sure what his current status is.

With football season revving up I am sure these guys have declared who is in charge . This is the biggest money making time of the year for them and I would think they want to make sure the profits make it into the correct pockets

You are going to run into many from the colleges for sure. But you stroll down Atwells and visit every restaurant and see who runs them ;)

JoeSchmo...I can assure you there are still Italians over on the Hill. It isn't what it was 20 years ago, but sit outside Venda Ravioli and around Sicilia's pizzeria...and a few restaurants like Andino's and Angelo's. Prior to RD flipping, I used to see him quite a bit while I was in Providence, especially in the downtown area around Side Bar Grille where he worked. I am not saying there are made men all over the place but the old stomping grounds still brings in the younger Italians and some of the old timers. Baby Shacks lives in the apartment above Addie's Laundramat towards the end of Atwells Ave down near St. Adalbert's Church. There was a restaurant there called Euro Bistro that he was a regular at, but I believe he still lives in the apartment unless he is serving his home confinement in Florida.

Tom Brady has been running the family for years. Just wait until that scandal hits the news...

Yep JCB you are right. Every time we go we stay on Atwells and they are all over the place especially the further you go down Atwells away from the Interstate. Once you cross the interstate near those high rise apartments across from the Hilton that is where you'll see most of the other races.

JCB, Baby Shacks is still at his apartment on the Hill. He has to finish his restrictions there then I imagine he goes back to Florida.

If this family had a induction ceremony lately which Scott stated they did they are obviously more organized than most of us thought. Now we just need a reporter to figure it out and release. A Article breaking it down. For us

Myfoxboson use to have great mob specials a few years back . Wish they would start then up again

It wouldn't surprise me if they made some new guys around 2005-2009. After Baby Shacks was indicted, most guys were closing down shop a bit knowing the FBI was coming from everywhere. I highly doubt they were making guys then. But Limone could have made a few guys privately without some big ceremony. Many bosses kept induction low key, especially since the 80's and their fear of RICO. I can't see them making more than 4-5 guys...enough to keep up with the attrition. Lots of members in New England that are much older...but people aren't afraid to run to the FBI like they used to be, ex: Spucky Spagnolo.

Robert "Bobby Cigar" DeLuca. He was a Capo who flipped and wore a wire a few years ago.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Back in May, it appears that Billy Angelesco's son was arrested after a North End home invasion went awry. It went bad when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. Ouch!!
