On the newest Johnny And Gene podcast, Gene is discussing a guy who they took in, screwed him over, and made him. Later on they found out the Genoveses shelved him. He discussed something with rusty money and jewelry heists etc. Does anyone know who he is referring to? He said his name was Joe Dicario(don't know the spelling of last name) and he was locked up with Ronnie at Fort Dix. I'm assuming before this last pinch, obviously.

Not sure but that story he told was pretty funny. Also Gene and these guys talk about 5-6 figure sums of cash like it's nothing. I comment fathom ever owing somebody a hundred grand

It's on youtube. Not sure what schedule they are on. Feels like they used to be more consistent at least 1 new upload a week. Not sure if they are still doing that.

But yeah...Youtube. Apparently they're putting everything on Apple and Spotify this week too.

I’ll have to watch it, it felt like for a while they fell off and weren’t coming out with any new content. At least this one sounds somewhat entertaining ..

I watched another random podcast I forgot what it was even called but they had gene on, and the guy asked a good question, sometging they haven’t even gotten into on their own show fully , the guy asked what exactly caused gene and Ronnie’s relationship to go bad.. and gene said he grew a ton of resentment towards Ronnie for holding him down, and not proposing him even though he says Asaro put him up.. and then he said he robbed Ronnie of 300k and went to Florida .. then like once he realized what he actuallly said he tried to cover it up and say that he didn’t actually take any money but that he had that much of Ronnie’s money shy locked out and Ronnie didn’t know the customers who had the money and gene told him good luck, but obviously I don’t believe that he was just saying it to cover his ass, sounds like he really did take 300k from Ronnie and jet to Florida..

Gene did not say this Joe DiCario was shelved, that would imply he was a made guy. Gene said he got chased by the Genovese family which just implies he was an associate that fucked up somewhere along the line but not bad enough to get clipped.

Apparently this DiCario is now a Bonanno member from Long Island.

So I’m guessing he got made sometime 2016-2020 because he said he “heard he got straightened out in Long Island.” So he probably got made, and then transferred to a Bonanno Long Island Crew? One of the more knowledgeable people here might know who’s a captain or someone of influence out in Long Island for the Bonannos.

I know there's a LI based Capo with an extremely long ass last name that I don't feel like looking up but remember Johnny Mulberry is his nickname. Supposedly a Strip Club guy / owner. But, this guy was 'around' Ronnie and could have very well just been made into that Howard Beach crew. Some of the crew members lived on Long Island.

I'm sure this was touched on in at least one other thread on here, but does anyone know/recall who took over the Bonnano HB crew after Giallanzo (and Asaro) got sent away? Who's the Capo of that crew right now?
