in italy usually the strongest is who are more political and freemasons links, that's why mancuso's are so powerful, at the same level than piromalii and de stefano, if involved only in drugs you are nobody withouth this kind of links

Why do you think the Bellocco undermined the Mancusos?

Sigh..... Why did they DO that? Considering Panteleone MANCUSO was trying to establish a "Crimine of Vibo", for the whole province with backing FROM POLSI... this was like a rebuke.... the Anello clan led a coalition of clans in opposition to the Mancuso, which included the Piscopisani led by a Fiorillo? I forget the name....

Are there any books on Francesco or Rocco Barbaro?

Interesting interview, around the 10 minute area, they mention ‘la santa’, it appears to be something special within the Ndrangheta. They mention politicians, masonry, even Licio Gelli, how there are only 33 santisti, and that only after 1 of the 33 dies, can someone become a ‘santa’.

Anymore information on ‘la santa’ or Holy Mother positions within the Ndrangheta or how/if at all the Archangel Michael is involved or influences the Ndrangheta?

This article says Archangel Michael is the patron saint of Ndrangheta and says it stems from the following story

“The story goes that three medieval Spanish knights, named Osso, Mastrosso, and Carcagnosso, fled their home country after being wrongfully imprisoned for avenging the rape and murder of their sister. When they landed in Sicily, they invented the rules of the ‘honoured society’ – one of the mafia’s favourite names for itself – and each brother then went away to found a different mafia. Carcagnosso went to Calabria, and is supposedly protected by the archangel Michael, while Osso went to Sicily (and is protected by St George) and Mastrosso to Naples (protected by the Virgin Mary.) Obviously, the story is a complete fabrication, but by keeping up traditions and rituals like this for multiple generations, the ‘ndrangheta is able to build an identity for itself.”

Thanks, I heard that about the Ndrangheta and the Archangel Michael, just never seen it in an article before, thanks again.

As strange as it might be, I believe Archangel Michael, is also the Patron saint of Police officers.

La Santa was made to protect most powerful members of 'Ndrangheta , including politicians, secret service members and freemasonry members who can be members of La Santa but not members of 'Ndrangheta.

'Ndrangheta has different structure than traditional sicilian/american mafia. You have Minor society and Major society. We don't know all the ranks in La Santa but the latest ranks were discovered in 2010 and they are ranked from lowest to highest:

1.Crociata
2.Stella
3.Bartolo
4.Mammasantissima
5.Infinito
6.Conte Ugolino

Ranks in minor/major society are totally different

If you are interested in 'Ndrangheta and its connections to politicians/secret services/freemasonry you should follow 'Stato-mafia' trials.

Several witnesses from witness protection program disappeared during trial, they claimed there is 'Super Commission' formed by most powerful bosses, politicians, secret service members and freemasonry members to control organized crime in whole Italy. They are probably all dead, if i can remember 4 of them disappeared after such claims, very sensitive topics to talk about.

Thanks for the information, any suggestions to get info related to the ‘Stato-Mafia’ trial, it’s hit and miss, for the reasons you mention above lol

Also, Conte Ugolino, is that Dante’s Inferno?
