motorfab,

Sorry I didn’t know last month about this radio series for which I’ve posted a link below.

French Connection : Marseille, Montréal, New York

https://ici.radio-canada.ca/premiere/ba ... l-new-york

I would have a very hard time being able to follow along in the spoken word; so I myself won’t be listening to this series. Enjoy!

Oh ! Thank you very much for sharing and for thinking of me antimafia, it's very nice. I will listen to this as soon as possible.

Despite the language barrier, as a Montreal expert, I guess you must know some of the stories around Edmond Taillet that I mention in one of my previous posts and Lucien Rivard.

I see that Charonneau is invited in the podcast, I invite you to read his book "La Filière Canadienne" (The Canadian Connection for the English title, if I am not mistaken) if it is not already done, this is one of the best books I have read on the mafia in Canada, France and Italy.

Thanks again my friend

People don't talk much about French organized crime, but if everyone read it they would find it very interesting too.

I'm not sure it fits in the Articles section, these are just stories, and most importantly I don't have the writing talent of Villain, gohnjotti, B. or Eboli (and all the ones I forget ).

The thread has been viewed or read 2058 times so far. Even if I come back to it from time to time to reread something it's not just you, Villain or me going there (or we have to be locked up  ). The thread is read, and from time to time someone tells me that he appreciates what I wrote, that's fine with me. And if someone doesn't like what I'm doing, they'll tell me or not read me, that's fine with me too ;)

But I appreciate your enthusiasm 8-)

I think your articles with a lot of information about French organized crime are very good, it is a topic that deserves to be seen by more people. 8-) :D

Thanks man, coming from you it touches me, even though I don't know much about Genoveses I really like your articles.

From my point of view, I find it a shame that the French mob is a little forgotten, it was so linked to the Americans and the Italians ... I'm trying to fix that! Anyway thank you for your interest, I appreciate it.

I'm working on two things there, so stay tuned, it should happen soon :)

Hey Fab -- you've written about the links between Ricord and Tommaso Buscetta. Another figure that I understand was linked with Buscetta in cigarette and narcotics trafficking (I belive earlier in Buscetta's career) was Corsican Pascal Molinelli. I also understand that Molinelli was supplying Cinisi boss (and former Chicago mafioso) Cesare Manzella when the "First Mafia War" kicked off in the early 60s (the dispute apparently having started over one of Molinelli's shipments that was subsequently routed by the Mafia to NYC).

Any further info about Molinelli?
