There was a few posters here who use to claim that so I do believe that you were told about this through a poster here....

But I'm just reminding you that there are several ppl out there, such as Giacomo vacari, who intentionally will tell u fake info for idk what reason....

I think the last credible kc poster was Bobby Batts??
Batts was a great poster. Best knowledge on KC
Has he been around??
And does anyone know his stance?? Last I remember he said that KC was just few bookies left and has a few relatives around but no Family left
He posted yesterday.

A few years ago Allan May invited me to lunch to discuss his pending book on the Pittsburgh Mafia. Depending n how well it sold then he was interested in a Youngstown/Pittsburgh book. I have no knowledge of a Pittsburgh Mafia book and no Youngstown/Pittsburgh book. Maybe JCB could help us?

Allan May has written two books about mob activities in the Youngstown area, which has long and deep connections to both Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The first was about the infamous Jungle Inn casino (late 30's thru the late 40's), and the second covered the period from roughly 1950 through 1963, which included many bombings and killings. My understanding was that he intended to do a third book covering the Youngstown area from 1964 into the 90's, which would naturally include the Pittsburgh family influence overtaking Cleveland beginning in the early 80's after the Naples-Carabbia war from 1978 to 1982.

Providing he's got a rough draft manuscript ready, maybe a few us can send him an envelope or two to help with his expenses. ;)

When I met with Allan and he saw my pictures of the "fellows" from Pittsburgh, he noticed Charlie and and asked why he originally moved from Pittsburgh to Warren. I told him that I was surprised that he made no mention of Charlie in his book about The Jungle Inn as that's why he was sent her to make sure Pittsburgh got their cut. He honestly didn't know that. Charlie was never about the notoriety, only about the dead Presidents ;)

I have another question someone with a lot of knowledge on Pittsburgh can probably answer, the same friend sent me a picture of six men in "Charles Roost" which I won't post here since I don't know where it came from or how rare it is. (I couldn't find the source). But there is one person in the photo I'm particularly curious about since I've seen him in numerous other photos and can't lay a finger on who he is or how far up he was in the Pittsburgh structure. He has a beard, wearing a grey bucket hat and beige sweater. On one pinterest post it says his name was Lou DiMaggio however I don't know if this is true as I cannot find any more than that one mention of name.

Those are my pictures from Charlie's Roost, a hunting camp in Tionesta, PA.You're welcome to post whatever one or ones you might have questions.
Off the top of my head the only DiMaggio from camp was Nickey D. As far as how high up some of the other "fellows," after John LaRocca died : Michael Genovese - Boss, Jo Jo Pecora - under Boss and Charlie Murgie, Consigliere. I guess that as high as it gets.

Very interesting, I had no idea they were yours.
This is the person I am referring to.
Do you know who it could be?

Nickey D as in DiMaggio. There should be another photo that's ok to post, with a bunch of us sitting around a table. Nickey is standing behind Charlie Murgie at the head of the table. I'm sitting next to Charlie on his right while Michael and Jo Jo are to his left. Goes to show just how "strong" Charlie was.

I will PM you the images I have and hopefully you will be able to tell me about the image you're talking about.

Thanks a lot for the info you have given me today.
