One of the things I find suspect about what Pennisi said was that Dom was involved in the Johnny Gongs hit.

Well this point in particular he said Perna told him so its at least 3rd hand knowledge but Perna is very close to Merlino so I tend to believe it.

One his Instagram for sit down news he seems to be planning a series on John “Johnny Sideburns” Cerella with the #exposed and #truefacts. So far he hasn’t gone on to my BS radar but it looks like he maybe going through some personal vendettas through his stories on sit down News and his podcast IMO

Accoring to Pennisi , Mukremin was off on 6 or 7 guys on
Lucchese chart ,He explains pretty good , If he sticks to facts and his wheel house

I dont see anything that justifies the hysterical reaction to Pennisi in his post.
Pennisi get introduced to Philly guys through Perna (long history in Jersey), they have dinner and shoot a little shit and people react on here like he's JK Rowling. And the goss about Gongs? Speculation goes way back here about Tony Nics (and therefor possibly Baby Dom) clipping him way before 2016. And we're a forum. These guys actually know the fucking guys.

Personally I think that Pennisi is spending plenty of time on the internet reading about this stuff (market research as it were) and will sometimes tailor his content accordingly to give his audience what he thinks they want to hear. The Perna connection gives him license to do a lot of that when it comes to Philly and I just have a feeling that's what he did here with connecting Dom to the murders. After all if his story doesn't include that it's just some guys out for dinner and drinks and people aren't gonna keep clicking for that. I predict that once this initial burst of interest in his blog and social media dies down he will start to "remember" all kinds of stuff including tidbits about Philly that Perna supposedly told him.

Just watched it there for the first time. Some take-aways I have:

- Nicky Scarfo Jr was possibly transferred to the Brooklyn crew after he got taken down
- Matthew Madonna was made a captain with no soldiers before he got bumped to acting boss
- Guys can be made captains with no crew as a launching pad for an administration position so they don't just go from soldier to acting boss for example
- Pennisi was told not to tell people in other families about how many skippers they had because they didn't want the other families to know how many crews they had
- Dom Truscello's Manhattan crew had over 30 members at its peak
- Tino Curso was acting captain for Truscello
- They were looking to give George Zappola a captain spot over the original Brooklyn faction though Pennisi doesn't know whether he actually got it

Thanks chin for the recap. The guy dom having almost 30 guys under him would differently make him one of the strongest and respected capos of all the family's. Think he came from the dipalmero brothers huge heroin crew. Prince street or something. He was in a lot of little Al's book. They must have got along cause al never shits on him and there in alot of pics
