Gottis personal bookie
I recently was told by a reliable guy I know some interesting stories about Gotti and his gambling. I have seen before here and elsewhere that Gotti stiffed his bookies and even betted with his own books which hurt his crews profits when he was captain. I was told by the guy that while at least he was boss Gotti bet with someone unaffiliated with the Gambinos and always paid, and yes always lost. IIRC the name told to me was Vinny, a Queens guy.I found this interesting. Seems to me if true Gotti should of at least bet with someone within the family because than hed get maybe 10 percent of it back in kick ups. I only bring this up because I have no reason to doubt this guy who told me this story.
Re: Gottis personal bookie
I never heard he was a welcher. But maybe he didn't want the connected book to know how much he lost and when you're losing that much money and that much money is coming in you don't give a fuck about ten percent.
My opinion.
My opinion.
Sorry. Wrong Frank

At least one of Gotti's bookies was Dominick Curra.
