Borello mentioned that in one of his interviews. But it was simply people in some of the other families voicing the opinion that, since they were made by Massino and he flipped, perhaps their membership shouldn't be acknowledged. But that never really went anywhere.

If they did that about half the Bonanno family would have been invalidated including most of the top leaders. It simply wouldn't have been practical.
