According to what Felice posted Cefalu really is the boss. He's not a front for anybody.

Seems to be lots of different opinions on this, some think Cefalu is boss, some think he's a front for John Gambino or Cali.

john gambino is in a really good shape, at least he was until last summer. I don't know since then.
I thought he was basically the boss but I was told cefalu is a tough guy and he's not just a front boss, cefalu had more familiarity with steet guys, john was in prison too much time to be in full control of the family.
I didn't have any "official" talk in the last year so I know just what I read on here and on justice papers.
I believe his brother joe is the bensonhurst captain. mannino, inzerillo and some other relatives are under him.

I agree with you on John G not being Boss as he was in prison for a long time and probably wasn't familiar with LCN landscape when he got out to be Boss. More than Likely its Dom as Boss and Cali as his Underboss. John G was just on a ruling panel in the past. But I think Cali holds allot of sway within the family as well as with Dom. Why would Cali want the Boss title? He doesn't need it. So Dom is put out there with the Target on his back. Well him and his mother since he still lives with his Mom..bahahaha

i should have been clear. i was referring to cefalu , cali or any other name that goes up front . my opinion jg is running things and is not as sick as the rumor has it but he has definite medical issues,, he does not want to die in prison sick. they are going by way of westside, who have been putting guys up front for decades..only problem today when the G comes for you they can make that target the boss..like every time a missile kills a terrorist he is #2 seems like 50 #2s..and 3s..what i do not agree with jg didn't know the landscape..when you are in prison you know more at times about the goings onion the street than guys in the street..if anyone was in prison they know that.. hope i cleared it up some what Tommy.

The three man panel thing was a reported two years ago by Capeci. It was/is made up by John Gambino, Anthony Gurino and Joseph "Sonny" Juliano and acted as an extra buffer between Cefalu and the street. Don't where they are getting that Cefalu was a front for the panel though.

Regards the three man panel? Its a reach as whilst the Feds may not know who's on the Westsides panel, they know that there's a panel. And there's zero talk coming out of Capeci or the G about a Gambino panel.

And as far as John Gambino running the Bino's? Bronx I know you're local but I don't know what to say on this one. Can't believe you'd know something as high up as this over the Feds. All due respect.

Hello Sonny, just my feel or opinion..when you know the players on the team it is easier to guess, or catch a rumor that is closer to the source than say a capeci, fbi knows who is running things, they have c.i.s in every family..they will hold that info until a pinch is coming and then may appoint someone they like LOL. all the families are a mystery.. gotti amuso persico are the only real bosses, for bragging rights. it is all a guess, until one of us gets their finger pinched..remember these panels are just window dressing ..there is only one guy making final decisions..that guy is the real boss...my opinion

I don´t understand this fascination for John Gambino. What´s so special about him? What is it that makes some posters think he´s running the show? Cali actually holds the highest rank with the Gambinos at this moment. (Peter Gotti, the official boss is in prison.) Cefalu is probably "just" a skipper but the acting boss nontheless. He is not a front for anybody. It doesn´t work pinpointing what you call a "front boss" and pray to god the feds picks up on the fake structure while the same time call all the shots in the Family. Everybody in the Family would know where the orders are really coming from and what´s the fucking point then? Cefalu would need to be an idiot accepting these conditions. To the best of my knowledge, Cefalu is not a retard.
