I watched the ig AMA that was cool. He answerd alot of little shit and I believe was telling the 100 truth because he didnt have time to fix the the answer. According to Bruce Mouw (head of the Gambino squad at the time), while they overheard Gotti badmouth pretty much everyone else, never once did they catch Gotti badmouthing Chin. Mouw said Gotti always spoke of Chin "with great respect."

You read my mind wiseguy, it was that very quote of Mouw which always made me wonder how Gotti had taken that slap from Chin. He tells Chin with pride that he made his son thinking it would impress chin and Chin let’s him know he is not impressed at all. I thought for sure once they left and were in the car he would lose his shit lol.

I think when chin gets indicted in early 1990 gotti was gonna start his pushback against them or that's what I think. He knew chin was coming after him. I dont think he knew the luchese family was in on it with chin. There was that story gotti wanted to push allie shades into the boss seat. He must have had some plan. His book, Underboss, goes into detail on most of those topics. It is one of the best mob books I've read so far and I would highly recommend it. Even if you've already heard Sammy's story a million times, the book goes into far greater detail about his life, his crew, his early days with the Colombos, the murder of Johnny Keys, and much more.

I've read the book tall guy would just like a bit more on that era sammy and co pre 80s. Its a great read i agree buddy.
