Scoppa being a police informant and participating in a tell-all book is HUGE. We may finally know all of the details from the mafia war that raged for a decade.

For years that rumor of being a police informant was circulating in Montréal. Now we know for sure. Hopefully the book will tell a lot about still unknown secrets of Montréal mafia.PogueMahone wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 4:32 am Scoppa being a police informant and participating in a tell-all book is HUGE. Very interesting. I was also unaware that he had been considered acting boss by the police.Laurentian wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 4:42 amFor years that rumor of being a police informant was circulating in Montréal. It seems it was released last Monday in Canada. I don't know if an English version is planned https://www.leslibraires.ca/livres/la-s ... 11132.html

Vidéotron is the major telecom company that serves Quebec (mostly) and operates Club illico, which is a subscription video-on-demand service. As far as I know, the documentary is not yet listed on the Club illico site (https://clubillico.videotron.com/club-i ... l-arrivage) but will be shortly.motorfab wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:19 amCan't sait to see this documentary thanks for the tip. For individuals who are not Vidéotron customers, a subscription to Club illico costs $15 Canadian plus tax a month, but this may not guarantee your ability to see this doc — I’m not sure yet whether the doc is content exclusive to Vidéotron customers.
Most important, a valid Canadian address must be supplied during the signup procedure.
Your best bet is to chat with customer service/technical support by going to https://clavardage.videotron.com/ChatWe ... tType=sacx — maybe there are other options. Good luck.

The Amazon Canada site indicates that the Kindle edition comes out tomorrow — see https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08M3V21Z7.
This e-book should be available to Kindle users in other countries, but don’t quote me on that.
I’m going to check the Rakuten kobo site to see whether the e-book is or will be available there — with Kobo e-books, you can drag copy and then paste it, e.g., paste into Google Translate.

Anyone know if Renaud's Rizzuto book will be translated to English?
