The rule about introducing two made members
Is this only for two members of different families or does this apply to the same family as well?

Re: The rule about introducing two made members
I would be grateful for some clarification regarding what is considered right or wrong.
Let's us just say that when I, just a friend not a made guy, was introduced to another made guy would introduce me as " a friend of mine".
I have been in the presence of a couple of made guys introducing another made guy to the other made guy by saying "he's a friend of ours".
Now if through some miracle you understand what I'm trying to describe, is what I've described the correct way to introduce some guy to another?

Yes that’s the correct way. To add to that let’s say you get inducted, even though you’ve been around for years, you’ll have to be introduced as a friend after that ceremony to the same people you did business with throughout your criminal life that did not attend your ceremony. For example, Junior Gotti got made in 1989-90? He had to be reintroduced to his father John as a “friend of ours”, according to Mikey Scars.FriendofHenry wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:15 am I would be grateful for some clarification regarding what is considered right or wrong.

Yeah Snr didnt wanna make jnr bc he wanted it to be legit...
Yet same time when Gotti Jnr was asked "do you know why your here" instead of saying the traditional lie of "No" he said "ya to get my button" which I think a lotta guys hated that he acted that way. The ceremony was supposed to be sacred to Gotti... lol he made NJ re do theres!!!
Now... as FoH asked, lol Donnie Brasco movie said it best...
"Friend of mine... friend of ours.... okay lefty but what do I say about you?"

Reminds me of Fratianno describing the story of Dominic Longo wanting to be introduced as "a friend of ours" to someone so that guy could let the Montreal guys know he was made.

I love that one because if I remember correctly it came about because he didn't know who Shotsie Sparacio was and it caused an issue. So that's why he started doing that.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 10:26 am Of course there is the John Veasey version. "I'm in the Mafia and if you are too tell me."
