Don't we have Paul Tanso listed as made? I find that questionable if he's sitting next to his former captain who flipped.
Or is this already cleared up?

This shit is only going to get worse going forward. More and more "involved" affiliates are taking to the internet to share their stories and they inflate the fuck out of their role in things. Current researchers are going to have their hands full sorting through it. We have Franzese, Artilotta and Luisi calling themselves bosses, Alite was a one-man murder Inc, Gene says fuck the buttons, Culotta was secretly made by Spilotro etc.
I would imagine they were most honest during their FBI debriefing session and that should be used as a comparison for what they say 10 years after on the internet. Natale can go online and talk about Bruno/Gambino's joint making of him and suffer no consequences, had he tried that shit with the FBI instead of admitting that he got out of prison and Merlino made him then his deal would have been impacted.
Gravano and DiLeonardo haven't changed their stories. Caramandi neither but he's been under the radar since the 2000's.

Arliotta has made clear in both his interviews with Gene and John that was an “area boss” and not boss of a family or anything. He doesn’t seem to exaggerate as much as these other guys. But I do find it hysterical from watching both of Arilotta’s interviews with these guys that he has no sort of remorse for being a criminal, he’s just remorseful he got mixed up with wise guys. I think he truly believes he’d have never got jammed up for any of his criminal activities if he never associated with mob guys.

this is why i can barely watch these guys. it really depends who they have on the show. i can't listen to a couple rats sit and talk about how they were the baddest guys around every episode. i was watching one and gene kept talking about how nobody is left in philly, how the fuck would he know? not to mention everyone they used to be around is a punk or broke or whatever the fuck but they're the tough stand up guys who just happened to start snitching when shit got hot.
Gene’s got to give the Franzese thing a rest. He brings it up every freaking episode. Even if Franzese exaggerates and lies, he’s documented as a Capo in the Colombo Family that made millions and millions. Gene was never even straightened out, and the more he goes on and on the more he comes off as petty and jealous.

We'd have to see a list of crew members in the early-mid 2000s.
One thing to remember is, according to the indictment, Arilotta never technically rose above the rank of soldier. Tranghese was technically the captain after Bruno but, according to prosecutors, Nigro marginalized these guys which effectively made Arilotta the "de facto leader" in Springfield before they were all taken down.
It's educational if you zoom out and just listen to these guys talk and how they respond to things. If you watched that documentary alone you'd see Luisi and be reminded of Vincent Pastore and take in his story of him as some outrageous earner. I think back to what Previte had to say about Boston Bob: "He was a wannabe doofus."
Gene calling out Franzese for lying about being an informant is doing a public service, Franzese has had free reign to snowball his story for two decades and its good that he knows he has to watch what he says.
Still don't know why Tanso was there, did he even do anything besides introduce himself and nod throughout the episode? I find it hard to believe he was made. Despite Phila's characterization as the most dysfunctional mob in America they were never really "loose" with the membership. Merlino/Natale were more conservative about it then Scarfo was it seems. So for them to make 6-8 members in NE when they barely did it in Phila/SJ? It's possible but it raises flags.
