Re: John Pennisi interview with Cosa Nostra News
Ok so by that logic anything that happened to him that he didn’t mention in court is bullshit. He didn’t tell this whole story about Dom truscello’s house either so that must be bullshit too.
We don’t know if it’s true or not don’t pretend like you do.

What in Truscello's story in that article isn't in the testimony? The person who was standing behind him?johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 8:22 am Ok so by that logic anything that happened to him that he didn’t mention in court is bullshit. I don't pretend to know anything but logically it doesn't make any sense that something as important as this guy being a possible candidate for acting capo that it wouldn't have been brought up in testimony. Not with the way the case was proceeding from the prosecution.

Re: John Pennisi interview with Cosa Nostra News
I don’t understand why Truscello would invite Pennisi over to his house to ask him if he knew who the rats in the family were. And it’s also puzzling why Truscello would introduce Pennisi to Anthony Grado, who was shelved at the time. His whole story to why he flipped seems strange.

This isn’t a small nuanced detail he forgot or neglect to mention basis being irrelevant or unimportant.
This is a BIG statement. Which the prosecution would have jumped ALL OVER, if it were true...

Just so you know I completely understand why you’re saying what you’re saying but we still can’t call it 100% true or 100% false.

In my estimation John Pennisi is a complete piece of dog shit. He brought his daughter to a meeting when he was suspicious he might be harmed by his colleagues. After the goings on with Big John at the cigar spot and patty reds guys shunning him his radar had to be going off big time and you take your daughter with you!?! An irredeemable sin imo even when you’re amongst some of the worse members of society

A lot of thing are brought it in 302s or subsequent interviews that never come up in trial testimony. It is nothing new.

True. But all of that discovery material is on lockdown - protective order and it isn't going to change anytime soon. So there's no way to verify whether or not that was said. And again. That's too important a detail to have forgotten until later and too important a detail that the prosecution wouldn't have used it in their case.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 9:36 am A lot of thing are brought it in 302s or subsequent interviews that never come up in trial testimony. My initial statement was ‘starting to smell like bullshit’.
Which means I’m very suspicious of his ‘capo’ claim. I never said it was 100% false.

My guess is he did it on purpose. Knowing they wouldn’t clip him if his daughter was there. He was on the outs and they asked him to take a ride?johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 8:42 am In my estimation John Pennisi is a complete piece of dog shit. And more to the point, he was on the outs and they were going to bump him to Capo? C’mon.

Could of been there plan to promote him to get him to let his guard down and then clip himSonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:07 amMy guess is he did it on purpose. He absolutely did it on purpose that's why he's such a big piece of shit! I understand why he brought someone and it was probably a smart move but to bring your daughter and possibly put her in harms way is......I can't even think of a terrible enough word for it.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:07 am

I don't believe he was getting bumped to acting capo either but we don't know for sure and we never will, that went to the grave with Dom Truscello.

Re: John Pennisi interview with Cosa Nostra News
Just noticed that Pennisi claims Dom Truscello was going to become the acting consigliere for DiNapoli, but Pennisi earlier said that Andrew Disimone was promoted to consigliere in 2017 following the indictments.
