Gene Borello- fraud?

I dont believe Gene when he says he was the only shooter in the Bonannos and was the toughest mobster on the streets. He had 3 attempted murders so he technically isn’t even a killer. Plus, compared to other families the Bonanno’s have a decent amount of shooters. Anyone else think Borello’s full of himself and exaggerates a lot?

He had 3 attempts on his life so that shows you theres other shooters.He let it slip that the most dangerous crew was dino calabros the crew was full of shooters,so that i was the only guy who put in work during this generation is bullshit.

Yea he probably could of but the guy had so many serious charges he would of waited an even longer time to get made, he was ready though he has the tattoo that reads Omertà.

Dino’s crew was another generation but they were very dangerous and unlike Gene, Dino and his guys actually successfully killed people. Gene’s generation are millennials( born 81-96). Gene seemed like the only active shooter in the Asaro/ Gialanzo crew in the mid 2000’s- early 2010’s. However there’s definitely young guys on the streets who’ve put in work but just haven’t been caught yet. For example, the guys who whacked Chris Castellano 10 years ago. The mob attracts sociopaths so inevitably there’s always gunna be guys who are willing to pick up a gun.

According to Gene, Ronnie G didn’t want him to get made so that they could met without Ronnie violating his parole. That sounds like bs because Ronnie associated with known made guys all the time, he literally got his parole violated because of that. Ronnie probably thought that Gene wasn’t ready to become made. He was only 29 at the time. Most guys, especially guys who aren’t great earners, wait many years to get their button.

Gene was the typical blue collar worker bee in the mob, i.e. collections, robberies, assaults. But, like Kenji, at the end of the day his kill count was 0.

Alite does have some murders but his "I was the ultimate gangster" routine isn't necessary. He can bash Gotti Jr. all he wants but where would he have been without being in Junior's crew?

So they can only talk about Franzese "keeping it real" so much. And I say that as someone who likes their show so far.

I wish he would bc he really does have more clout then them combined... but there literally two different type of videos.... john and gene are almost still for ppl involveds entertainment.... as franz can reach out to much broader range
