Sammy the Bull Gravano has a son and daughter living openly with no issues.
I’m really starting to think the Mob doesn’t kill informants/people anymore.

That is not true,Gino DiPietro a philly mob associate was whacked in 2012 because was a rat same think for Mario Riccobene in 1993. Recently lucchese capo Datello tried to find Sean Richard the Riggi son in law that flipped in 2000 and in the 1990s the Gambinos sent to 2 wiseguys to kill Gravano in Arizona.

Al D'arco and his son Joseph,Gioia sr and jr from the Lucchese family are the name that come me to mind.
Also the cantarella’s
Yah but the Richard and his son both flipped... this thread is about a family member flipping and someone they’re related to still staying in the life... good example since were talking about cantatella and his son.. is coppa and his son,.. frank coppa flipped, yet his son stood tall and remains in the life...

I guess we can add Michael franzese for cooperating(no matter how many times him or anyone else tries to deny it ).... and his father sonny staying true and staying loyal to Cosa Nostra.... his other son John actually directly testified against him, stood there on the stand and pointed the finger at him and everything ... but John doesn’t count when it comes to the mob, I wouldn’t even call him an associate.... he just ran some errands for his father strictly so he could pass the Info onto the feds so he could go buy some more drugs..... man I feel bad for sunny... daughter who od’s and dies, his son John a full blown any port in a storm type of junkie to who the stand against his how father, then Michael who tried to follow in sonnys foot steps but he just was never cut out to fill those shoes.... so he ended up cutting a deal with the government also.... then sonny spends decades in prison for some bank robbery shit that he was falsely accused of... yet after all of that he still jumped right back into the streets like none of that shit even phased him.... he was extorting and scheming into his hundreds.... fucking legend...

I forgot about little Dino saracino... his brother sebby testified against him... and what must have been just as bad, if not more heartbreaking when it comes to betrayal was little Dino’s cousin, big Dino Calabro... who basically schooled little Dino in the life... all just to flip on him later... big Dino sounded like a true piece of shit of a human, mobster or not..

Another one... Joseph Vollaro who was kicking up to little Nicky got busted with a kilo of coke and ended go testifying against a lot of gambinos. His father Tony Vollaro runs a huge book for the gambinos on Staten Island.... I’m assuming he’s still doing his thing ... I heard even after his some flipped that Joseph would sneak into Staten Island to go see his father...

Yep caves folded as well.... that 20th ave crew was a fucking vicious crew... they were the ones who were going at it with the bath ave crew... it seems like the most feared violent crews are always the ones who end up flipping.... which isn’t surprising in reality because they’re out their running fucking wild committing serious crimes (armed robberies, home invasions, shootings, murders) so it’s all fun and games to be that feared crew on the street until you get arrested... and are facing life .. that’s why all those crews end up all folding....

Weird though cause around that time and into the late 90s you had wild bills crew on 11th Avenue... he has a serious big crew and also had a lot of young guys around him... which was also a crew not to fuck with.. I think the main difference is Cutolo must have been real hands on and more involved/ strict with his crew... not like these other crews with youngsters who were straight cowboys running fucking wild...

Yeah, I read about the Paul Mazza murder, and how they were planning to kill Paulie Gulino from Bath Ave.

From what I’ve seen many young Turks didn’t make it into the mob because they were so wild the mob only used them to do violent work. Tanglewoods, the Colombo Turk crews come to mind.

Someone who is probably the best example of that was John Pappa....

The guy’s a lunatic, but he sucked up the consequences of his actions at a young age too.

I dont think that is right. Gerard Pappa was killed not flipped, his son was a violent wannabe that stayed with the Colombos only because after the third war they needed someone to fill the ranks.
