I have no clue how you came to that conclusion. The guy didn't say the mobster's name, he didn't give any identifying details about the mobster other than that he lived in Queens.

Is there something I'm missing?
"What happened was, my other neighbor was a big organized-crime figure in the Bonanno family,” he says. “My dad lost everything. This guy was just being nice. He said, ‘Hey, come clean my pool.’ I cleaned his pool, so then he gave me the head of another organized-crime family’s pool to clean, and then it was John Gotti’s pool.
Definitely Massino.
Lol, that's my bad. I turned it off when Joe Rogan started rambling.
I don't know dick about dick.

He said

2 Bronx, 2 Long Island, 1 Manhattan, 1 Brooklyn/Staten Island, 1 Jersey
Are u sure 2 Bronx n 2 long island??

I remember it being 6 total and not that... could be wrong.
johnny scootch is right - 7 crews in the areas he listed.
This second Long Island crew is most likely made up of Brooklyn/Queens guys that moved out to Long Island rather than Staten Island.

I think the same thing was said about the Brooklyn crew, i.e. it's actually based on Staten Island now and is called the Brooklyn crew because most of the members are originally from there.
All roads lead to New York.

I think Joe Massino’s house is on public record isn’t it because his wife was allowed to keep it....so we could check if it had a pool then we’d be odds on it was him. Lol....probably too much at this point 😂

Yeah the old Brooklyn crews morphed into a Staten Island crew and a Long Island crew.

2 in the BX and only 1 between Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island combined. Interesting.

That's what I'm saying. Which crew is DeSena capo of if the area has become a desert for Luchesse activity?

Perhaps he just has one or two guys.

Its not 1 crew between Brooklyn, Staten Island & Queens. That second Long Island crew is most likely made up of the guys from Brooklyn/Queens who moved to LI rather than SI. So you have 3 crews spread out between Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island & Long Island.

I don't know for sure but I think DeSena is capo of the Old Prince St crew.

To add the 2 Bronx crews are most likely made up of guys from the Bronx (obviously) but also guys from the old East Harlem crew and also guys from areas north of the Bronx as well.

Of course LI is comprised of Brooklyn/Queens guys..but still not one crew is based in the 3 boroughs? And Staten Island and Brooklyn have much more italians than the bronx. And the bronx has 2 based there? I am suprised.

When I listened to the part of the podcast it got me thinking he could have meant a captain when he said “boss”... so it could have been anyone.. but paying a kid that much to be a pool man was big money back then... I pay my pool Man for my grandmas house 60$ a month... but he’s an old friend so it hooked it up obviously.. but still that guy was getting paid a killing back then... back in the 80s a 100$ bill was actually sometging.. now a days a 100$ bill means you got lunch money...sadly.. I mean shit you go to McDonald’s and it costs 12$

There is a crew based in one of those 3 boroughs, the Staten Island crew, which is made up of the old Canarsie and 19th hole crew members.

Don’t forget that the Lucchese family is historically Bronx based so it’s not surprising to me that they have more Bronx crews than they do Brooklyn/SI, traditionally that’s their set up.
