From youtube comments on his vlad interview...

"Before time existed Eve asked me out behind Adam's back"

"I was actually the bullet that killed Kennedy"

"I'm the only one who knows Victoria's secret"

I don't think anyone believes him

Seen it too. He's being mocked left and right.

He's a great storyteller though. I don't mind listening to some of his bullshit because there's also interesting tidbits between the lines.

Stuff such as him saying he sat at a table with one of his mobster friends and John Gotti and Don Rickles sending over a bottle of Champagne which Gotti considered an insult doesn't sound unbelievable. I don't think it's up to debate he knew lots of people, given the fact how he landed the role of Carlo and the fame it brought him, so some of it probably did happen.

Oh and btw, Marilyn Monroe teached him 'how to be a man'..

It’s easy to tell stories when the only people that can confirm them are dead. 🙄

I've had lunch with him before with another guy at Nello on Madison. He told me that he lived in Frank Costello's old apartment (one of a few, not just the majestic) This was on 85 on EAst side he said. He lived with Dionne Warwick for 20 yrs and did kill a guy in a casino. that is def true

Namely, Pablo Escobar "underboss" he put "two in his head in front of 200 ppl"

As well as slitting someone's throat with a bottle...

Lol working for Frank Castello bodyguard.... why he'd choose a actor.... also his house was left to him by Costello.

Watched part of his Vlad interview and there are many discrepencies in time.

He claims his great uncle Angelo Russo was a bigtime mafia boss who was hanged in '47 during the purge to eradicate the Mafia. The thing is, that purge happened during the early Mussolini era and post-WW2 the Mafia was making a major comeback.

Did this Angelo Russo exist and is it proven he is related? Apparantly brought over Frank Costello. What would Costello, a Calabrese, have to do with an oldtime Sicilian mob boss?

Also the time he claims with Monroe doesn't add up. First he was 15 then 18 when he hooked up with her and he says this happened in '53 or '54. Then stayed with her for 4 years but then he's still with her after Kennedy was elected, which was 1960...

Gianni actually says he killed esckba5 underboss... Put two in his head.... But John Gotti got him sent to a meeting in Colombia where Escobar kidnapped him but the GF movie saved his life
So Gianni actually did murder a Hispanic man at his State Street club in Vegas. According to this 1988 news story, a Lorenzo Morales of Cuba attacked Gianni with a bottle and was shot dead.

The problem with the story is the Escobar connection. There’s no proof. The claim that he killed Pablo Escobar’s underboss is flat out false. The Medellín Cartel was not structured like a La Cosa Nostra family. There was no “underboss.” But let’s assume he got the terminology wrong and this Morales character was some sort of known cartel member.

Nope.

I don’t see a Lorenzo Morales anywhere on this chart. A google search shows no results for anything relevant besides articles about Gianni’s own story published within the last 5 years. Supposedly the FBI personally informed Gianni of the cartel connection, yet there are no records of his criminal history? Because Gianni made it all up.

I’m not even going to entertain the idea that Gianni Russo convinced John Gotti to buy him a plane ticket to Bogota so he could personally meet with Escobar. Ridiculous. And that his life was spared because Pablo liked The Godfather? Gianni even went as far as to claim a Colombian cartel boss who didn’t even speak English re-enacted Carlo’s death scene with him. Bull-fucking-shit.

At best, Gianni Russo shot a nobody coked up drug dealer in his club. That’s it.

I haven’t looked into Angelo Russo’s mob connection, but I did find an inconsistency in Gianni’s claim (again). In this 2006 Howard Stern interview, he says around 4:30 in that his great-grandfather was the mob boss whose relation earned him respect on the streets. Now he’s telling Vlad it was great uncle. I’m not saying it’s impossible to confuse the two relationships, however I know exactly who my great-grandfather was and would never confuse him as being my great-uncle.

https://www.facebook.com/HowardSternSho ... 840074180/

Also, at 26:00 he says he was raped by his sisters girlfriend at 12, so the claim he lost his virginity to Marilyn Monroe is false.

For what it’s worth, I find Gianni to be an entertaining guy. It’s not out of the question that he knew Frank Costello (although Frank Cullotta was dismissive of this claim in his Valutainment interview) and he obviously knew certain players being in Vegas and all. He shouldn’t lie though. There’s no honor in that.
