Except a lot of pressure was off the Bonannos for at least a decade before the rats came out once the heat was back on. The Genovese have been hit by law enforcement again and again, with no such reprieve, and they haven't had a max exodus of people running to the government like the other families.

Moscatiello was a bronx guy I think if he flipped he wouldn't have died from cancer in a prison hospital they would have bailed him out and alot of guys would have been indicted on labor ract.
Says he took a 78month pleal deal for the union stuff. Him and dinapoli started there own plastering union in 1978 separate from drywall tapers. The skin coat making the difference. Pretty smart. He was there construction guy. He flips I think they would have solve the Ralph Coppola hit maybe. But they kinda did. Idk

The feds never really solved the hit completely. They only got one guy for conspiracy to kill Coppola.
I haven't even heard of 5 of those names on the Genovese rat list. Could insulation be one reason these guys didn't do much damage? I mean, they told what they knew, and what they knew wasn't much because they were kept insulated from anything that could seriously damage the family. Just an opinion.

I'd categorize them this way...
These guys are for-sure members who flipped. Everyone knows Valachi in the 1960's. Cafaro in the 1980s, who was with Fat Tony. Barone in the early 2000's (if I remember right), who was involved in the waterfront rackets. Arrilotta and Tranghese from Springfield in the mid-2000's. And Ruggiero from Florida in the mid-2000's.

Those are the ones I would put an asterisk next to because they are much harder to identify than the ones who did testify. And, if you're making comparisons between families, it can lead to false conclusions.
