Was Zagone clipped by the Merlino crew in 94 as part of the Philly war? And did the feds ever identify any suspects?

One report from the time suggested investigators believed the murder was a case of mistaken identity, perhaps by Stanfa hit men. Zagone was legitimate and had no underworld ties beyond being related to Stanfa. His co-worker, Frank Gulino, was supposed to be used by John Veasey to point out Merlino associate Anthony Valente for a hit in 1993, but Gulino didn't identify him and the hit was called off. Nothing has come out about the Zagone killing really since then.
