Looks like Accomplice 1 folded under questioning. They also know Tommy is tied to the 2017 break in assault and robbery that James Mainello committed. Now as far as I know he(Mainello) is not cooperating that's why they never arrested the other guy he had with him in 2017. BUT ..Could Accomplice 1 be James Mainello? Was he with Perna in the 2015 assault? Then assaulted the guy again in 2017 while John was in jail? James Mainello is looking at allot of time if convicted he could have flipped(still could). Could be he is not Accomplice 1. Could be his accomplice on that night in 2017 was Perna's Accomplice in 2015 and he flipped as well? Just some food for thought.

He was one hell of a wrestler as a kid. I believe he was offered a full ride to college thru wrestling. Hes in the Belleville Hall of Fame for Wrestling. I have never heard of him shaking down black drug dealers. He did a nice job redoing his home in Cedar Grove. I drive past it to get to my cousins home. For yrs it was the eye sore of the block. He bought it and totally redid the home inside and out. Everyone on the block was delighted. Its ashame he got mixed up in reality TV stars. Now his face is on every media outlet there is. Not a smart move hanging with NJ housewife people.

That family Perna\Tacceta is very well respected,they live and breath that life ,the kid just came home,this shit is old ,from before his old case I believe,hopefully they don't hit him that hard . As far as a deal hopefully he will get a good plea deal ,it's b.s.to go back and hit him for this but that's how they play. And as far as chances that he goes bad,Over This,c'mon I highly doubt he even contemplates it .....Just saying.....I believe it was within the past couple weeks a poster from there area said him or his bro had a pic of there uncle Marty T. On Instagram saying it was his idol Lol. A really good buddy of mine was in Johnnys Frat at Seton Hall, he used to go into Newark and rob the corner boys of their drugs and cash just for fun like Bobby said. I’ve told this story before either on this board or the other I can’t remember. There were a few mobsters kids attending Seton Hall at that time period, they had their own little campus crew of wise guys kids. The famous Seton Hall Dorm fire happened around that time and believe it or not that rat Ricciardi helped the Detectives solve it, it was like something out of a Hollywood movie.

Like I said I’ve told this story before on either this board or the other about Johnny robbing corner boys in Newark just for fun.

Johnny is a tough and crazy mother fucker. He was NJ All State wrestler in HS and wrestled at Seton Hall on a D1 Scholarship. He’s as tough as they come. I am sure he has mellowed out a little bit in his 40s. Last time I saw him he was probably 29-31 years old when my buddy that went to college with him had his stag party.

By the way for what it’s worth, I always felt like David Chase got the idea in The Sopranos about AJ, Carlo’s kid, and Patsy’s kid hanging out, bookmaking, and doing things together at college in NJ was from the scene at Seton Hall in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Yup. He would go down south orange ave into Newark during college. If anyone knows where seton hall is... one second you’re in a real rough part of Newark and the next you’re in a way more upscale are when you get by seton hall. This a long time ago but point is... he’s really a tough guy. He knows what he signed up for.
