I love how they've gone from Borgesi being super active as soon as he was released to being legit because he flipped a couple of houses, now he's running what's left on the streets, hilarious.

This. While I understand there is no other official info coming out and the rest is just speculation, George and Dave have been making an ass of themselves.TommyGambino wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 11:05 am I love how they've gone from Borgesi being super active as soon as he was released to being legit because he flipped a couple of houses, now he's running what's left on the streets, hilarious.
The family has gone from viable and working with the Genoveses to basically just giving up in a few years?
Borgesi from taking meetings all over the country and having guys made to flipping real estate? A family full off confirmed killers and ex-cons saying you know what lets just forget the whole mob thing? Hard to believe.
I know there is little official info coming out but that doesnt mean the Mob Talk duo is gospel.

it always reminds me of that Del Giorno quote something like "ten guys in a bar in florida, youre all from philly. everyone got rolex's and no jobs. youre not the mafia? who are you....sons of italy?"
"ten guys in front of a clubhouse, you're all driving 80k cars and living in the suburbs, wearing Burberry shirts. no jobs. ..........."

It's a fair point. Even I'm guilty of jumping the gun on some things, believing Merlino was "retired" as boss being one.Cheech wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 6:47 am it always reminds me of that Del Giorno quote something like "ten guys in a bar in florida, youre all from philly. everyone got rolex's and no jobs. youre not the mafia? who are you....sons of italy?"

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 40
Whatever these guys are doing , they’re not hurting for cash that’s for sure.
You should see them this summer at the shore -100k cars, shore houses in high end, expensive areas (Longport/Margate) , eating at expensive restaurants, expensive clothes, expensive bar tabs, $400 bathing suits, and expensive bottles of high end liquor.
Wait until the casinos open up in AC (This Thursday) and the guys who aren’t on the NJ Division of Gaming Blacklist are able to get to the tables at the Casinos in AC. Ive seen a guy at my table at the high rollers section of Borgata in the middle of the Casino play one after the other 1K-3k hands of BlackJack like it was nothing, guy was barely even paying attention to his hands as cool as a cucumber.

Everyone may have taken a big step back once the Persiano indictment happened a few years ago. Persiano had wiretapped conversations with people other than Servido and Piccolo. Maybe everyone is waiting to see what will come of that, Philly is such a small and tight nit group. This may explain the lack of known activity over the last few years or so.

Persiano is gonna end up hurting Dom G somewhere down the road.
Don’t forget the Feds had Staino dead to rights and ready to be indicted by 2004 and let him stay out on the streets until 2011 when they finally indicted him in the last big Philly indictment. I could see them doing something similar with Dom G.

Good point. I feel like the feds want to add on more serious charges, like the Dipietro hit. Isn’t gunna be easy tho.NJShore4Life wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:42 am Persiano is gonna end up hurting Dom G somewhere down the road.

He is **all over* that Servidio indictment. I think he’s listed as Individual 2. But they have him talking drugs and other criminal activity, they got him talking kick ups, they got him talking codes and rules.NJShore4Life wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:42 am Persiano is gonna end up hurting Dom G somewhere down the road.

I have given GA and DS shit about hyping a potential major Philly case for a couple years now, but I will say it’s tough to read the Servidio indictment and not think other shoes could be dropping.

Agreed.
