Weren't Siculiana & Cattolica Eraclea part of the Madamento too ? Or these cities are considered too small to be part of the Madamento? And is your list is the list of current Madamentos or does it also include the old ones?

Sorry if the questions may seem silly but I'm like Eline, I have several questions about the mafia structures of Sicily
the DIA reported 7 mandamenti in the province of agrigento, that source is wrong

i also thought it was part of porta nuova family, but if the DIA reported it as a family in its own it means there is evidence of it, zen family for example was formed recently and if we look at the province there are mandamenti with several families, most of them small probably, 10/15 members
I understand, but when exactly did Zen and Kalsa become autonomous, is the precise year known?

The DIA has Ribera in the same madamento as Cattolica Eraclea.

This kinda makes sense, because the boss Accursio Dimino from Sciacca, was asking about potentially setting up gambling in Montreal, and was told, " The Riberisi are there already".. or something like that.

It's even more interesting when you consider Leo Rizzuto recently visiting Cattolica Eraclea.

A question, did anyone know the Caruana- Cuntreras once controlled Ostia?

i think sandro lo piccolo wanted to form a family based in the zen about 15 years ago, i don't know about kalsa, but considering that these two mandamenti are large (320 made members san lorenzo and 250 porta nuova) it is plausible that they have formed new families
