John DiFronzo was a CI?

According to Red on that facebook acct, he stated he last saw it in 2002. But no specifics on the type of document.

So he does not even have it to back his claim? He claims he saw a piece of paper 18 years ago, does not know what type of document it was, and we have to go by his word.

Wemette really helped the Feds. He wasnt a criminal himself so it wouldnt be hard to imagine a federal friend of his revealing that info if he trusted him.

yes, thats all he said was he said a document in 2002. Didnt say it was a 302, notebook paper, paper print out. Didnt get into specifics.

He was a porn guy, not an honest citizen. It was mostly illegal then, and purchased illegally. He wasn't a big time criminal, but a prosector won't even show a friend that info. They still redact documents from the 1950's and 1960's when released to the public under the FOIA. It wasn't a federal friend who he claims showed it.

Thanks...if the story is true about Sarno kicking up at least "few dollars" to DiFronzo, then we have a "Ricca" or "Accardo" position...if the story is false, then it seems that DiFronzo completely closed shop and took one part of the Outfit and made it semi-legit, which again brings the question on whether his numerous contributions to various Chicago politicians was the only "ticket" to his success. Besides the conflicts between Cicero and some MP guys, wasnt there some tensions between EP and Cicero also? If so, then we should think twice regarding DiFronzos actions during certain time periods....

Can we completely rule out the possibility that he was a CI going all the way back to before he was underboss. Look at Greg Scarpa. Even though he planned and helped kill the Spillotros and was later indicted and did a little bit of prison time.

Or could CI2 be mislabled an associate. I dont think they would do that to throw people off. They wouldn't know 8 years in advance that Mars would supposedly show Wemette. If the total number of CI,s is 2, then I dont think DiFronzo or Mags were/are CI

Yes thats what Im not sure about The total number of CI's. I. think it might have been 3. Also was that the total number concerning the whole Outfit. Or just the ones connected to the Sarno case

The guy that im talking about was connected to Sarnos case i think. Also wasnt Rudy Fratto abandoned by the Outfit during one time, or maybe that was after the Sarno case, i dont really remember....on top of that he was in trouble at the same time, or around 2009 and 2010 and later received small sentence...

Its interesting that in 2009 Fratto got indicted and some say that he shouldve received much more years but that same year he was also indicted together with DiFronzo regarding the Fosco case, and in 2010 Fratto was sentenced to only one year in prison
