It'll be interesting to where the horses were running that he was involved in drugging. Pretty big scandal recently at Penn National involving doping horses...no surprise there.

They also said he was drugging horses , that's probably a more serious charge maybe federal ?
Agnello was friends with Ron Lucarelli as they jailed together at one point . Is Agnello still on parole from his New York bust ?

He was a millionaire prior to Victoria Gotti marrying him, he made a boatload in scrap metal.Giacomo_Vacari wrote:Strike me if I am wrong, but didn't the Gambinos chase him out of New York after pissed off a Lucchese capo. John Gotti seemed to have a pretty low opinion of his mental capacity. I believe it was Agnello he was referring to when he asked Victoria, "Does he get into the backseat of a car and think someone stole the steering wheel?"

That's about all I can think of too, JCB. Maybe Sciota and Mahoning Valley, Hazel/Detroit, but that's a reach; and as mentioned earlier, Beulah shut the doors last year. Northfield, heh..they dont need any more help being dirty, but I still love those 1/2 milers.
Re: Carmine “The Bull” Agnello Busted
All the horses where in his wife's name. Also look for the trainer MIke pappada and his wife Julie , who is probably the fixer , they definitely raced at thistledown and Beulah , presqile in erie. and possibly mountaineer .Doobeez wrote:JCB1977 wrote:Only place I could think is at Northfield or Thistledown

Interesting about Pappada, Stroccos. I wouldn't bet your money at Mnr, but I know he's trained there in the past, and was always live. Definitely a steamer. Not familiar with his wife, but trainers up to no good, or already suspended, use them, or in some cases a brother-in-law (New York) as trainer on record.
Re: Carmine “The Bull” Agnello Busted
Cant edit, but Rudy Rodriguez is who I was talking about.

I guess we will have to wait and see when the indictment comes out . I meant those are the tracks where Angello's raced there horses.

I knew what you were saying. Racing needs more black eyes, right? It'll be interesting to follow this particular part of the indictment none the less.
