So stupid. They bother the Italians because nobody gives a crap, meanwhile the tizzunes are still blasting each other, why don’t they do more raids to seize guns? Because it will be “racist”. Bullshit, you can’t get a coffee anymore? Those cops better lay off if they wanna keep their jobs, the rizzutos have a lot of friends.

Is racism against Italians still a talking point in the US/Canada? Genuine question.Moscone65 wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 11:53 am So stupid. Only on mob forums.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
That’s what I figured, LOL. Maybe Rizzuto should start the Italian American Civil Rights League 2.0.
Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
Definitely. Not nearly as prevalent as that against latinos, Asian, black, brown or Arab, but anytime an Italian last name comes up with crime, it’s automatically assumed it’s mob.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 12:41 pmIs racism against Italians still a talking point in the US/Canada? In Canada’s hyper liberal society, it’s a huge no go to be racist to anyone of colour in public, but nobody gives a shit if your more or less white.

Yeah and arresting criminals who happen to be Italian is not "racist".

Not so much since Alfonso Gagliano retired from politics lol. Every time his name was connected to some sketchy shit - and it was happening all the time - he would cry racism, discrimination etc just as cynically as your average woke liberal today. Up to and including when Lino named him as a made man. I remember one time in Parliament an MP started humming the Godfather theme in reference to him and everyone went apeshit lmao. Meanwhile he was the point man on one of the biggest scams in Canadian history.gohnjotti wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 12:41 pmIs racism against Italians still a talking point in the US/Canada? All I’m saying is they are busting the balls of the cafe owners for mob guys being there meanwhile the moolies are still blasting each other every day or so in Toronto but they don’t do shit. What do you think is the more pressing issue and what do you think of the police response to that issue in comparison to the other?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 7:36 pm Yeah and arresting criminals who happen to be Italian is not "racist".

Re: Montreal Mafia status - Post Rizzuto Era
Again prosecuting Italian mobsters is not "racist". They barely even get arrested anymore either. How many Italain mobsters actually get busted ever year? I don't think it even reaches 100 in all of North America. Compare that to the number of non-White gang bangers, drug cartel guys, etc that get busted every year. And the place with the most Italian mobster are arrested has an Itlain mayor and and Italain governor. Like I said the only place you'll see cries of rscism and prejudice against Italians when mobsters are busted is from a handful of people on the mob forums.
