It’s a live broadcast but I’m gonna wait until it’s finished and then watch the whole recording, hopefully he will cover some new ground

Leonetti is going to stay disguised till he dies. Was surprised at first he agreed to this interview.

Any way I can view this somewhere? Leonetti's interview with Forrest Sawyer is weirdly hilarious.

I don't even know what "Valuetainment" is.

Watching right now and taking some notes but here's something that jumped out at me immediately:

Leonetti says that by the time he was 18 (so c.1971) he knew his uncle had participated in at least five or six murders, but he doesn't list them. We know of about two or three of these. We know of the first murder he committed with DiTullio and the murder of Reds Caruso but I don't know whether he counts the stabbing of William Dugan as a hit. There was one he talks about quite in-depth that I hadn't heard of before:

‘There was one that he did on his own, that he almost got in a lot of trouble for with Angelo Bruno. Him and this other fellow named Marc – that was also a made guy – they killed this guy. He told me the whole story about how he was bothering my mother, how they got friendly with the guy, they took him for a ride and he said he had this .45 and he said they stopped the car to get out like they were going to take a leak. And when the guy got out the car, he said he shot him like four times – he held him up in the air. Like, he was bragging about that. The way the gun, the .45 actually held him up. Didn’t make the guy fall. He was hitting him, and the guy was against the car and he kept hitting him and everytime the guy went to fall he hit him again. It bounced him back up.’

I'm pretty certain that the Marc he talks about is Marc Marconi but I'm not sure about the victim. My first thought was maybe it was Pasquale Procopio or Louis Matteo but I checked the dates and they were both killed in mid-1972, while Scarfo was locked up in Yardville.

From the way Leonetti describes it, it looks like the murder took place after Bruno became the boss. In Mafia Prince, Leonetti describes Scarfo and Marconis having fallen out by 1971, so that makes it likely the hit took place sometime in the 1960s.

The time where Scarfo kills the guy with the butter knife? WTF happened?

Nick Scarfo in some roadside dinner, gets into it with some local, over what? Especially, for a fist fight to break out, where Scarfo kills the guys with a butter knife to the heart.

Is there any more information on this?

The Oregon Diner is no hillbilly road side diner lol. It's right in the middle of South Philly on Oregon Ave. You have been watching too many Guy Fieri shows with that frosted tipped hair fag haha.

. Yeah Caruso and Dugan we ones we knew about. This other story about holding the guy while shooting him is new but have no idea who it is. Maybe Phil doesn’t know the exact details of the others

That’s why I asked, to kill a guy with a butter knife, you gotta stab him pretty hard in the right place, sounds like Scarfo was getting choked to death. That’s the reason I asked, lol, I seen that show before, don’t know much about the guy tho.

He’s gay? What was the fight over, is what I meant?

They got into a dispute after one party got up from the table for a moment (can't remember which "side" did what) and the other party was occupying the already-vacated table. A quarrel broke out and the big Irish dude started choking Nicky out so Nicky skillfully slipper a butter knife between his ribs and took out his heart.
