Wannabes and low lifers 40y+old

Post by Jimmy Napoli »

Does older Italians deserved to be named as associates or OC,if they still doing robberies or dealing a drugs at street level? For me its nonsense for f.e 54 year old Italian(or any man)doing bulgaries or selling weed to the rich midtown teens. Its better to serve 10 years sentence for "big"crimes(stocks frauds, unions or internet scams),than being this shit.Surviving on low level in one of the best economy in the world.

Probably because at the end of the day, hanging around a social club, dealing drugs, doing robberies once in a while is still easier than waking up early every morning and commuting to spend 8-10 hours in an office daily. Also, all those other crimes (stock fraud, internet scam, etc) require some semblance of a brain and/or connections. As to whether they deserve to be called LCN, probably not but as other more knowledgeable posters have said the talent pool is not very deep these days.

So that people must really love that "job" cause, for me personal ,there is no way to be 24/7 surrounded by pimps, junkies, rats for less than $10k/month,and dont forget no way i can risk 5-10 in the can for less than even more,at least 30-40k per month.

Yes, because associate status is based on things like being "on record" with a family, longevity, etc. and not just what crimes they're involved in. Associates come in all forms. Just because a guy is older, it doesn't necessarily mean he has union connections, has a stake in a large gambling operation, or has a brain for sophisticated scams.
All roads lead to New York.

What does "deserve" have to do with anything? Do you think the hallowed halls of LCN are filled with only legends and choirboys? Really a silly question. No offense but some perspective would be welcome. Since the inception, made guys have been committing armed robberies and dealing drugs and doing what they can to earn....that is the norm. The other guys who earn without getting dirt under their finger nails are the exception. Most guys without a 9 to 5 are score to score, even made guys in their 50s. They got either drug problems, mistresses, gambling problems, failed businesses, ex-wives, dead beat kids or all of the above and outspend whatever they bring in. That isn't unique to today's times.

these guys are criminals....a criminal mind doesn't change at a certain age like a switch " oh I gotta do white collar crimes now im 45"???? guys rob and steal age has nothing to do with anything. some guys get in and learn to work other scams and areas of crime, some get so powerful they can send an underling to do a job but even then, if a top tier guy sees a chance to score you better believe he will do it

That's not true, guys who are desperate or reckless when young do change, not all but most.

A lot of people see these guys as some kinda criminal magicians and shit... like they are a above doing shit in the streets...

I'm starting to realize this stuff is some peoples Harry Potter, like Bobby said on the Sopranos...

It gives the 98 pound weaklings some hope, or more specifically, people who are really clueless about the streets....

Getting away with a long running Stock Fraud scheme takes brains and allot of luck. They mostly all get taken down in the end. The majority of guys out there are making there money thru drug dealing, gambling, construction and stealing anything they can get their hands on. The Mostly profitable drug dealers out there are still the ones that pay nothing for the drugs they sell because they steal them from other drug dealers.lol Infact allot of no knock warrants where the guy inside they are targeting opens up on the cops...are typically gun/drug dealers that have been robbed by other dealers !! They assume they are being robbed again and open fire unknowingly on the cops !

for real lol. OP sounds either very young or sheltered, or both. (no offense jimmy)

very few guys reach the upper echelons of the crime world where they're clearing millions, those are the exceptions. and there's no rules or age limits with this shit it's a lifestyle. plenty of old broke crooks running around that will do whatever to make some cash.

Good points Cabrini you can't make this shit up ....like guys are born criminal masterminds ....nah most guys have to put that work in and in like any criminal organization you have your guys that have the brains and the guys who are putting in work in the street and alot of times they come together in jobs ,remember the smarter guys might come up with the scheme but your always gonna need the street guys to intimidate and put that work in ....at the end of the day they don't care what your doing , as long as your earning and kicking the money up to the next guy
