Everytime John Alite is on TV talking shit, he ruins his credibility a little bit more. If anything, that’s good for the mob. It’s people like Joe Massino and Sal Vitale, who never said nothing to journalists, who continued to be used by the feds on the witness stand. If Alite was called to the witness stand today, attorneys on cross-examination would have a field day. If you call a guy like Tommy McLaughlin to the stand, you don’t have a problem.

If you moved on Phil or Sammy or even Alite then you better know what you're doing.

I agree i think it all comes down to money the guys who are making it disappeared into the WPP and are too embarrassed to be ever seen again.Franceze is the opposite i think he has so much money that he became bored with life and thats why he does all these interviews.I think Alite needs the money and desperately wants the attention.

I think it also depends on the status of the rat. Alite was just an associate and probably considered small potatoes by the mob. They'd rather kill a Massino but then again once the damage is done you won't undo it by killing the rat.

The last time a mob rat of any type who was in witsec got killed as Joe Barboza in San Francisco by JR Russo and Salemme? Or was it Spagnolo.

Point being that this supposed power to regulate a federally protected rat whether they are in hiding or not. Barboza was living pretty openly when he got killed too. It's not like they found a guy who had reformed his ways.

The mob has tough guys and they have guys who can make money.

But their ability to find and kill snitches after the fact and get away with it is a myth. Correct me if I'm wrong but even if I am maybe there's two or three other guys in the last 50 years who got regulated.
