You never know with these guys because some if not most will be gangsters until their last breathe because that's who they are but we do see some guys retiring. Who knows with Pizzonia my guess with his restrictions and what not he wont be a captain any time soon. The Gambinos have a lot of captains already theres possibly more than 15 out on the streets. Why would he try to be boss? He wouldn't have anywhere near the amount of support to try and takeover. Nobody wants conflict these days and the Gambinos have been doing very good under Cefalu. Until the Cali death, the Sicilian bust and Campos crew indictment in 2019 the Gambinos have been out the news for a long time operating quietly.

Since he's been away his wife has been holding down the fort , She and him operate/Own a few bars and after hours spots in Ozone and surrounding areas that were doing pretty good when he was in so I figure he still has money , He's definitely not broke

And if so, once you go away what happens to your crew when you get out? Are you entitled to everything that you had when you left? The guys, the rackets or whatever you schemes you had going on-whatever is left that is. Or is like a reset? You start over and become part of an exsisting crew?

Yes Pizzonia got Peter Gotti's crew after Gotti was bumped up to acting boss. Paradiso later took over that crew but recently he was bumped up to consig so I dont know if Paradiso is still running the crew or maybe it got merged with another. It depends , some guys will come home and have that crew given right back to them if an acting captain has been in place but you see old captains come home and are soldiers again. Good example of this is Danny Marino. Ran one of the most powerful crews in the Gambinos for decades and he was bumped down to soldier when he got released his crew was given to Dominick Lombardozzi.
