Na we should listen to wiseguy, pogo and confederate. Clearly those wiretaps and the investigation was all fake, nonsensical lies that have no merit to them whatsoever. Violi is a mob obsessed drug dealer who gets giddy at the fact of pretending to be a part of the extinct buffalo mob and bragging about being its underboss!johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 3:03 pmWorking at his pizza place all day? So in between working at his pizza place all day and giving very public interviews to famous camera crews
Pogo
How many Mob guys have run restaurants and pizzerias yet still found time to be mobsters??? HUNDREDS probably
And interviews?? You mean Barstool? I don't see how that would interfere with anything, he's obviously trying to keep up the facade of a legit business owner. Something which he's been very good at.
WE KNOW he's the boss WE KNOW he's making and promoting guys within the family or are you denying those parts of the recordings of Violi made by Morena also?

Must be frustrated with Pogo & Wiseguy's Arguments & My simple F.B.I Question to now RESORT to name calling which is strictly against the rules in O.C. Threads. Anyway, carry on.....

Oh yes please ban me, a productive poster. I'm not pulling this info out of my ass THE UNDERBOSS is on tape talking to a member of another family saying all these things!Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 4:17 pm
And in how many of those cases has the FBI publically stated, on more than one occasion, that those individuals are no longer running things?
Pogo
Goes to show you exactly how much the FBI knew at that point.
Are you saying everything on those tapes is false information?? Dom Violi just making shit up so he can hear his own voice?
Why in Gods name do you think you or the Feds know better than he does?
Interesting that the Feds did a raid on Todaro's nephews who have a strip club and run drugs.
Re: Buffalo/Ontario Mob Acitivity
Fact of the matter is that we will at some point be able to have more information available on Violi's status within the mob not only based on the wiretaps but also LE intelligence, because this has all been documented in court. That in turn will provide information on Buffalo. If Violi was not bragging or making stuff up, then what he said will likely be the truth. It is really that simple. In time we will find out, that is a certainty.

Clearly the non existent buffalo LCN fed team knows more about the state of the buffalo LCN than.... the actual self admitted and recorded.... underboss of the buffalo LCN.
You’re crazy if you think he might know more than the feds. About, his own family.
Crazy.
Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.

Funny longtime Buffalo investigators and prosecutors have access to that very same information (the Violi wire) and have come to very different conclusions as regards to Buffalo then you two in 2019. Hmm who should I go with? Them or posters on a Internet forum who have been consistently wrong on just about everything? Tough choice indeed.

What do they know that we don’t? Some information that says that Dom violi is a liar???

Logical reasoning? You mean wishful thinking? That's all this has ever been about.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 10:51 pmI’m sure Pogo and Wiseguy can find some excuse, likely without any base, to solve this logical reasoning.
"Who may have..."
"Could have been..."johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 7:23 amBuffalo had guys sitting around FOR YEARS that could have been made MUCH earlier the likes of the Violi's
"Could be..."The family was going to shit I agree but something happened when Falzone got really sick and Todaro Jr took over.
They started making the guys who should have been made in prior years and even asking around if guys such as Cece Luppino wanted to be straightened out. Add this recruitment drive of sorts to the fact that there could be a handful of made members who WERE NOT known to law enforcement and its not hard to come to 30 members across the vast territory the Buffalo family can/has claimed as there own.
Ugh. Same excuse others used in the past for Detroit.
Pogo and I understand better than anyone else on the forums how the feds work. Always have.
I don't know how far back you go on the forums but it's you who is apparently oblivious. We have gone with what the feds have said time and time again. And you know what? Time and time again we have been right. Because in things like this the feds are right 99.9% of the time. A decade or more ago, we had people who were just as sure about Detroit then as you are about Buffalo now. And time will show you to be just as wrong as they were.
Yeah, because all those miserable, arrogant pricks from 10 years ago, who gave us so much grief about what we were saying about Detroit, came back and admitted they were wrong.
All roads lead to New York.

Cross-posting. This article has all sorts of chewy goodness.

Really good article here by the Montreal Gazette's Paul Cherry. Discusses not only the prison release denied Charles Gagné, who killed Eddie Melo in 2001, but also makes references to the related conflict within the 'ndrangheta in Ontario back then and the 2012 warning given Jimmy Demaria of the Siderno Group about the Rizzuto camp in Montreal wanting him dead.

So you're calling me a miserable, arrogant prick now? I think you are demonstrating a failure to show appreciation here.Wiseguy wrote:Yeah, because all those miserable, arrogant pricks from 10 years ago, who gave us so much grief about what we were saying about Detroit, came back and admitted they were wrong.
Sonny, I've been instructed to tell you that if you move this Mormon prick out of his Utah casino, our friend in Buffalo will go along. You can shoot this asshole through the eye if necessary.
We've now reached the point that it is what it is.

Re: Buffalo/Ontario Mob Acitivity
I think what we disagree about is pretty clear and next best thing to do is find something we can agree on. Wg & Pg in your opinion what do you think the current Buffalo mob looks like today membership wise and overall strength (which obviously is really hard to judge) I'm just trying to get a picture in my head of what you guys think the family is like. Do you even believe Todaro Jr is the boss? That Dom Violi was the underboss? Or do you just completely dismiss all the info from the Violi recordings?
