Costello assasinated two calabresi

Re: Costello assasinated two calabresi
Magaddino jumped all over the place in his conversations, and to make things worse, the FBI had an old poor-quality mic and their interpretations weren't always right. When Magaddino said "cosa nostra" they thought he said "causa nostra," and that's one of the better known examples. So Frankie could be Frank Costello or Frank Scalise. Magaddino repeats the name of a Vincenzio Manno, who could be Vincenzo Mangano. Frank Costello didn't make Mangano part of his army, but Scalise did. If that's the case, then the two Calabresi would probably have been killed in the 1930/31 time period. I'm sure other posters have their own guesses.

The knife used to be a sign of the Camorra, especially if the guy was proud for using it like in this case

I don't know I'm just theorizing here... after all Vito and some other fellas were connected to that same organization, same as people from Chicago, and there's great possibility that they've sent a non-Sicilian to take care of two other non-Sicilians. Who knows maybe the killer was also Sicilian and simply loved using a knife lol for example Ricca (possible Camorrista) used to love the knife lol

I already skipped several pages back and saw that. In fact, some other researchers and myself went over these files in 2002 and were stumped. Like I said, it's hard to say who Magaddino referred to since he jumped around so much. One second he was talking recent events, the next he was talking about something 30 years earlier. Cheech could be Frank, and Frank isn't necessarily Frankie. He sometimes referred to the same individual in more than one way. Very hard to follow. Who was Tempesta? Was that a name or a description? Did the FBI record it right and did the agents transcribe it correctly? We don't know.Eline2015 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 12:38 am https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.htm ... 2&tab=page
