EB says Tore was never a Tanglewood boy. I have no reason to doubt him. I've read an article where they describe him as one but more then likely an error.

Here is what happened to some of them.

John "Fat Face" Petrucelli - Got made into the Luccheses. Now doing life for murder.

Joseph Petrucelli (John's brother)- Doing life for murder.

Steve Crea Jr. - Got made into the Luccheses

Craig DePalma (son of Greg DePalma) - Got made into the Gambinos, flipped and then tried to kill himself but survived. Dead now.

Darin Mazzarella - Flipped

Nicholas Mazzarella (brother of Darin) - Flipped

Alfred "Freddy Boy" Santorelli (son of Lucchese Capo Anthony Santorelli) - Got made into the Luccheses.

James Galante (grandson of Carmine Galante I believe) - I think he is doing life for a murder.

Andrew DiSimone (son of Lucchese Soldier Salvatore “Sally Bow” DiSimone) - Got made into the Luccheses. Now a Capo.

Anthony DeSimone (son of Lucchese Soldier Salvatore “Sally Bow” DiSimone) - Doing life for murder.

Phillip DeSimone - ? (I believe he is related to the other DeSimones)- Got made into the Luccheses.

Pasquale Parello Jr. (son of Genovese Capo Pasquale "Patsy" Parello) - He was killed.

I'm sure there are others.

He was made sometime in 1998-2002. I'm guessing he wound up in his dads old crew (run by Anthony "Blue Eyes" Santorelli).

Thanks Pogo. Reason I even bring this up is because I re read that old Mcrary story he did with Darin. It comes off like a novel cause I'm sure most of it was made up. Fun read if you can discern the truth from the fiction.
Thanks again Pogo.

Were any of those DeSimone's related to Tommy DeSimone the character that Joe Pesci played in Goodfellas?

I think also there was:

Paul Ragusa - son of Filippo Ragusa - he has a long jail sentence as well.
Anthony Aiello - son Nino Aiello - has a 30 year sentence for murder.

Not sure but I thought Tommy was a distant relative of a DeSimone from the LA family.

Are you sure about Ace the young Bonnano who got the 30yr sentence being a Tangle wood member? I don't think he was. He was in grade school in the early 90s...

I wonder if those Ragusa's are related to Kyle Ragusa a member of Andy Merola's NJ Gambino crew. He did ten yr for shooting a guy.

Ace Aiello came up in the Giannini Crew. Paul Regusa was also part of it. They were like the Bonanno version of the Tanglewood Boys.

People associate Aiello with the Bronx because he ended up close to Basciano and was in that crew (which actually had members all over NY), but he came up around the Bonanno heartland in Middle Village / Ridgewood. That's also where his father operated in the 70s and 80s.
