Current Bonnano captains

In Destefano’s book he labels Cassese a captain. I don’t see him listed that way on any of the current charts. Same with Johnny Joe. Cassese is home and Johnny Joe will be home soon. Any thoughts on how the Capos/crews are split up now and how it may look a year from now when Johnny Joe gets released? Barring any further indictments/incarceration’s of course. In my opinion the Bonnano’s hierarchy is all over the map right now and will only get worse in the near future. I wonder if the Feds even know who the hell is in charge of what right now.

Johnny Joe Sr is listed as a soldier rn but it’s likely he gets a promotion to capo or possibly even gets an administration role. Also, I agree the family is very disorganized at the moment. Mancuso is the boss, that’s for sure. Johnny Palazzolo is acting boss and maybe even the underboss, since the last confirmed underboss Nicky Santora recently passed away. Vinny tv might be Consiglieri considering he close he is to mancuso. My guess is vinny got the promotion in 2016 when his parole ended.

I agree but what about Cassese? He’s done 2 bids now and kept his mouth shut. From all the court docs and cases he’s been indicted for it indicates he’s a good earner as well.

I think he’s from Williamsburg and was in or around that crew from there, formerly operated by Nicky Santora and Vito Badamo. Matter of fact IIRC, his Mom played a part in him getting made (and no, im not getting him confused with Joey D’Amico)

Before Nicky Santora's latest bust he had his crew meet at the Sunset Diner, which is right off Meeker Ave on the Williamsburg/Greenpoint border. Anthony Gurino had construction rackets in Williamsburg according to a recent Gangland. Given all the construction in the area I'm sure there are other LCN construction interests.

If you have spent any significant amount of time around these guys you would understand. When Johnny Joe is around it’s very clear who’s in charge. Whether it’s capo, admin position or whatever who knows but he is absolutely 100% treated as a superior, boss, skipper, fucking shift supervisor or whatever the fuck term you want to use. I’ve personally seen him stop guys classified as soldiers in charts on here from fucking around on the weight pile just by by saying “that’s enough” and giving them that mean fucking stare of his. Some guys just have that IT factor in certain circles. Johnny is one of them.
