Yeah they also busted the cocaine delivery service, after hours club, and underground casino the Brazilians/Portuguese had running in the Ironbound which I would imagine was kicking up to the Westside (just a guess) about two months ago. I fucking love the Ironbound - used to love hitting up that after hours casino after a Devils game at the Rock (I’m a Devils season ticket holder). Many many good times , law enforcement is encroaching on all my fun lol

I might have to disagree on the kicking up part but who knows. I would not be surprised if they helped out with sports gambling operations , if any

Yeah that’s because the South Ward of Newark and the Irvington/Newark boarder areas are complete war zones and Newark PD will look the other way at prostitution, gambling, and booze in the Ironbound. Plus the Ironbound is the safest area of Newark , even after the Italians left.

I got gas in Irvington a few weeks ago, the gas station attendant literally waits in a bulletproof glass box and you have to waive to him to come out (NJ you cannot pump your own gas)

Sometimes when the Parkway is jammed up with traffic around Newark area I get off and take back roads to avoid traffic through the Newark/Irvington/East Orange border area and the gangbangers won’t even move when they’re blocking the street. Total cesspool that particular area!!

Irvington and far West NWK can be a lil hairy but I have too many friends and X’s in Newark and EO so am there weekly and I actually think it gets a bad rap . Just on looks it’s gonna creep out some but for most part its fine. They might look like gangbangers but most are just regular folk. My accountant is in EO lol . That’s just my take but I’m a lil different too lol
