Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
At the risk of getting slammed for a QUESTION....here are my questions:
So, this guy is getting out November 16 according to BOP. Corozzo is getting out at end of November according to BOP.
When they reenter, how does that affect the overall composition of the family? Do they go back to their old rackets?
How does an administration shift -- relative to a guy like Corozzo?
How are their parole restrictions set? If a guy gets out early will he have parole restrictions?
For example, Pizzonia wasn't supposed to be released until 2020 according to some sites. So is he on restriction for those months he was released early? And then they're lifted?
Do they decide to retire? Forced to retire?
Does the administration keep track of people who are being released and prepare them for re-entry into the family?
I'm genuinely curious.

Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
He definitely is not retired. He will ride out parole and pick up where he left off, I'd assume as a captain because there aren't many guys who have what it takes to give him orders.

Pizzonia is a nobody compared to Corozzo. Dumb thug. Corozzo is the life through and through and a shrewd guy

So does he go back to his old rackets? I'm guessing he has some sort of parole restrictions because he's out early, right? Does that last through the end of the original sentence?Fughedaboutit wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 5:44 pm Pizzonia is a nobody compared to Corozzo. Dumb thug. And does it change the composition of the family because he was high up there before he was sent away, right?
How do they work it so there isn't a power struggle, I guess, is what I'm asking.

There will be no power struggle but they give Nicky a prominent role imo

Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
Nicky is indeed a very shrewd operator. But so is Gene Gotti. I believe Gene's parole restrictions run for another 15 years as opposed to Nicky's which runs for only 2 more years. Any thoughts as to what future roles they will play in the borgota?

It's okay mafiastudent. You won't go to the slammer for asking these kind of questions.mafiastudent wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 5:19 pm At the risk of getting slammed for a QUESTION....here are my questions:

On second thought I used to think by the nature of your posts that you might be a lady. But after reading through your list of questions I think you might not be a lady after all, but instead a six foot hairy beast of a guy with size sixteen feet over there. Madonna mia! Datsa soma tinga you got over there grandma.potsnpans wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 8:26 pmIt's okay mafiastudent. Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
Gene was away a lot longer then Nicky but they both have a ton of respect on the street. I doubt the admin of the family changes at all with them around but Nicky for sure will resume as a captain and take over his crew again. Gene who knows, he's a Gotti and the whole family is on the outs. Maybe he gets the rank and no crew but maybe not.mafiastudent wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 5:53 pm

As for their rackets Nicky will pick right up where he left off but Gene was away a lot longer so whats he have left? If he has that book its still his but I can't imagine anything else was still going when he got out.

Nicky doesn’t need to have a place in the family’s administration. He has a powerful crew that he has held onto for almost 30 years.johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 3:51 amGene was away a lot longer then Nicky but they both have a ton of respect on the street. Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
So, when they're in jail and someone else is running their crew, do they still get their share? Is it held on the side? Given to family?
Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
It depends, but Mafia rules allow for soldiers to keep on-record associates (Joey Amato being a case in point) and receive tribute money, as well as captains and their crew.mafiastudent wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 7:37 am So, when they're in jail and someone else is running their crew, do they still get their share? Money is generally dispensed to the persons family or prison commissary.
Of course, the situation changes if the person arrested has no real friends or people willing to vouch for him on the street.

Re: Dominick Pizzonia and a Question
Nick Corrozo seems like he left behind more of a functioning, well oiled machine versus Gene Gotti. Corrozo’s crew was already big , serious and on point to begin with. he’s got in laws and blood relatives , still active, to watch his money and keep things moving. id imagine he has way more of a bigger, active loyalty on the street versus Gene Gotti.
im not remotely saying these two will be going to war for an admin spot or anything stupid like that, but it seems like Corrozo just has a better chance of getting back into the game and being successful with it, compared to Gene
they should just give corrozo the boss spot and have a street / acting boss for him. its the guy’s whole life ambition (according to what DiDonato used to say) and he probably wont be alive for much longer anyway. worse case scenario he gets indicted and dies in jail. they know he’ll never cooperate. just let him be the boss lol
