Paul (Legs) Di Cocco - who was he affiliated with?

Paul (Legs) Di Cocco and his brother Duilio (Jakey) Di Cocco...... born and operated up in Schnectady, NY were two lifelong gamblers and mob figures of that town. They were basically the main guys up that way.

But who were they “really” affiliated with??

I have seen them listed under Bonanno. And I think that’s because of a 1970’s - before Galante’s assassination alleged contact with him or one of his men.

I’ve also seen Di Cocco allegedly in contact with the Scibelli/Bruno crew when they attempted a “push” into the Albany area.

But I’m not certain that that makes a good enough case for formal affiliation...... were they “connected”? It appears so! But who they actually were “around” and whether Legs was formally “inducted” anyplace, is the real question.

I guess nobody knows any info about them? Too bad because very little is known about the Schenectady/Albany district area OC activity..... thought it might be an interesting thread!

I know there were a few affiliated guys besides the Di Cocco brothers.... Eugenio Campo and Doc Farone but knowledge is very limited. And considering the area had a large Italian population there had to few more active guys I’d imagine

There is some speculation that he was affiliated with Montreal!.. Just my opinion!.. no concrete evidence!

Could have been.... very little concrete on him and His brother. He is documented being in “touch” with a few Bonanno guys and Al Bruno, but that’s all. No formal confirmed affiliation
