Re: Akron Ohio + Italian mafia
To answer the Question: Who was Whitey that played cards with Jimmy LaFatch on Sunday mornings? I have that answer: It is Whitey Thompson a Construction Worker that did Street Work. That is all I know - now it's time to figure out who Whitey Thompson was/is and his Background...FriendofFamily wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 8:55 am On a slightly different note JCB1977 shared a picture with me of a Good Picture of Whitey Besase from the Toledo, Ohio faction. I needed the photo to show my wife whether the Whitey that played cards with at the Akron Sicilian Club on Sunday mornings was the same as Whitey Besase.
The answer is NO
My wife began describing the Whitey that played cards with Jimmy Lafatch on Sunday mornings which didn't fit the picture at all. Although she said she seems to remember him (Whitey Besase). From the Old FBI Files from the 1960's Jimmy Lafatch and Whitey Besase were described as being close. So I needed to know whether these were the same guy.

Citing the eight months of surveillance and FBI wiretaps that were installed in Gallo's office in December 1980, Burdon said Gallo was seen only once with money in his hand.
