I’m surprised Vena is still on the streets. He’s been under investigation for a while now. The feds might be trying to nail Vena with murder charges.

Yes they have been trying to nail Vena for awhile now with the Tony Zizzo case.

Joe the builder Andriacchi identified as Underboss at the time of the Zizzo murder is 86 years old now and presumed retired. Will he die a free man. Did time from 68 to 71. So he has never been convicted of anything since he became a capo and then part of the administration, which covers about 30 years.

What happened regarding the class action lawsuits against Robert Dominic and the building where La Scarola/Richards Bar/ and the Acacia Hotel are located?

Was this from 3 or 4 years ago?? Burnstein doesn't mention Vena as street boss yet. I think Vena started being talked about being street boss, mainly by Burnstein was sometime in 2016. No indictment yet. To answer your question haven't heard anything about the class action lawsuits.

La Scarola will be opening a new place - the deal has been in the works for some time and has been changing who the partners are going to be in the final lineup. I am not at liberty to say the location, but trust me, I know it to be fact.

Because the outfit is much quieter you never know what’s going on. Before the latest indictments people on this forum were calling grand avenue defunct then all the sudden they seemed like the most active crew when the indictments came out. If vena is gonna be indicted on a Rico it would have to be soon due to statute of limitations. He’s a hard guy to do surveillance on. I pass his house everyday on the way to work. It’s right on a busy road set way back from the street with a fence all around and a gate blocking the driveway and big trees blocking a view of the house. Next to impossible for any LE to sit and watch him as there’s nowhere to park

I'm not sure that RICO has a statute of limitations as they can always prove that unless a defendant withdrew from the organization then the RICO predicates still apply. Most of Joey Lombardo's crimes were done 20+ years prior to the indictment.

Nope that’s not where he lives. Elgin Illinois is where he has lived for many years. Think the house is under a family members name

To tie Lombardo to the conspiracy they used his more recent conversations with dr pat Spilotro. Depends what else they have on vena since then

The only problem is that if Friend of Family knows the location and the changing of partners, so do the Feds. The remaining Outfit guys left on the street are playing the usual chess game with the Feds that has been going on for decades. The huge problem the Outfit has in 2019 is that the game is rigged in the favor of the Feds because they know 95% of the Outfit's moves before they are ever made with the multitude of Informants and high tech surveillance as compared to a much lower percentage many years ago.
