Barney definitely. Patsy is also well respected. Just from what I know in the Bronx area.

Who were the two Indelicato associates killed shortly after the Three Captains Murders? I can't find my copy of Donnie Brasco to check. IIRC they were killed by the Colombo family (?) Thanks.

Is it true that Frank Costello consulted a psychiatrist? and if it is true why he was doing therapy?

Yes it is true. It was because he wanted to be respected as a legitimate business man and he was depressed because he was always viewed as a racketeer instead of a business man. He was never really caught up in the mob life. He only used it as a way to gain wealth and power.

Frank Costello’s definition of racketeer:
A person trying to gain power, money and respect at the expense of entrenched power, money and respect. Or something along those lines, it was in Five Families.
I get it....first rule of fight club.

I understood, thanks for the explanation, it must have affected him a great deal to "break" omerta in the 1950s, even if he told only a psychiatrist that was something unheard of at the time.

Seeing a psychiatrist? It makes me want to cry.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

How do ruling panels work? I understand that it’s usually a couple capos or the administration, but is it like a trimuvante where they all have to agree? Do they divide up the money evenly before kicking up to the boss?

I saw a therapist myself about a year ago, I had some issues. I learned some coping skills, enough said.

This thing of ours… way it’s goin’… it’d be better if we could admit to each other these painful, stressful times. But it’ll never fuckin’ happen.

Like those two espolito brothers who whacked their parents in California, the prosecution had their therapist on the stand
