I hear ya but remember what Angelo Prisco said in his taped conversation criticizing Peter Gotti about the ill advised hit team he sent out to get Sammy.

Per his thinking ( and likely mafia protocol) only an idiot would do that as the damage was already done and such an attempt would result in heat which would reduce earnings which was 100% plus this move resulted in more rats lol if I recall.

Today it seems if they catch you in the act and you aren’t a Cop they are gonna kill you but after the fact such an attempt is stupid and amateur 101 wanna be bull shit. Real gangsters know the shortfalls of an ego in the life.

They ain’t what they were but they still ain’t to be fucked with so let’s try and separate real life vs mafia video game talk here.

I don’t know Chicago so this is from a NY / NJ perspective

I appreciate your New York perspective but it has nothing to do with Chicago or a video game.

When was the last hit in Chicago? Zizzo over a decade ago? And who before that? The outfit aint clipping anyone these days. And they will shoot someone if they catch them in the act? What is the likelihood of that happening? Odds are, they are wired and got the goods already anyway with an FBI van parked down the street ready to bust in lol

Wonder what the Other high ups felt about the game plan to hit Sammy , wonder if they gave there opinion on doing it or not. Or if Peter just kept it Quiet to just the people involved .

I was kidding about the stray bullet lol. There was Zizzo, the Hatch Chiaramonti, Ronnie Jarrett from 99 to 06. Then you have to remember around 97 ,98 the guy that witnessed the Caruso kid attack the black kid was killed. It looks like they were trying to get to Nick Calabrese at one point. So they were still wacking till 2006. They still want to nail somebody with the Zizzo hit. The talk a few years ago centered around Vena and Adriacchi. I think now with Calabrese, it would be to high profile and draw alot of heat.

I can't even think of who the hitters would be in 2019, seems like anyone dangerous is in jail or in an admin position and in their 70s lol

When I mentioned about going to the "Old Haunts" I was referring if I drove him around to some of the old places. On Calabrese's Tour he doesn't go anywhere that is all that cool to see unless you are a tourist. Just check out his website sometime and it tells you where his tour takes you.

Yes all the known members are pretty old. Nobody knows if and who have been made in a long time. I guess if they had to kill someone the work would be done by an associate. My opinion is they want and have to be under the radar to survive. Murder brings to much heat. The Jarrett and Chiaramonti hits were done by unknown or unknowns according to what info is out there.

An associate by the name of Bobby Cooper admitted to being the driver in the Chiaramonti hit. He claimed that Anthony Calabrese (possibly one of the guys that Sarno allegedly made) was the shooter. Calabrese (no relation to Frank) died of cancer last year. He was serving a 50-year sentence for armed robbery and extortion.

Yes and at the time of the hits he was basically an unknown. I would imagine that they still have some sort of pipeline of associates that could be called upon for murder.

That was in 2001, 18 years ago.
