I did not see that mentioned but the only thing I can surmise is that there are (x) amount of members -- past or present -- with that exact name. I could be wrong, though.
My first thought was maybe that was the number of sources that confirmed that person's made status?

My attempt at figuring out all the redactions in the Philadelphia list. It appears to only include some of the first guys made by Stanfa (based on the assumption that #7 has to be Joseph Ciancaglini Jr because I can't think of anyone else who would fit there alphabetically) and includes some members who were already deceased at the time of writing (e.g., Nicoletti). There appears to be slots for some members who died in 1993 while others are not included, though some of the guys included died before some of the guys who were excluded. The names in the square brackets are my educated guesses.

1 – Anthony Attanasio
2 – Fulvio Anthony Capozzi
3 – [Peter Caprio]
4 – [Nicholas Caramandi] (WSP)
5 – Anthony Casella
6 – [Vincent Centorino]
7 – [Joseph Ciancaglini Jr?]

9 – Nicholas Alfred Cifelli
10 – Charles Ignazio Costello
11 – Joseph James Costello
12 – [Thomas DelGiorno] (WSP)
13 – [Dominick Dinorscio]
14 – Anthony Vito Ferrante
15 – [George Fresolone] (WSP)
16 – [Gerardo Fusella]
17 – [Joseph Grande] (Schuylkill FCI – 6/15/2011)
18 – [Salvatore Grande] (WSP)
19 – [Francis Iannarella] (State Prison)
20 – [Charles Iannece] (El Reno FCI – 5/3/2011)
21 – [Santo Idone] (Jesup FCI – 12/4/2001)
22 – [Philip Leonetti] (WSP)
23 – [Joseph Licata]
24 – [Joseph Ligambi] (Incarcerated)

Any idea who the redacted names are? Obviously Vincent LoScalzo would be #7. Alphabetically #1-2 could be Frank Albano, Antonio Amorelli or Ciro Bedami? #5 could be Joseph DiGerlando. Thanks.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Technically, unless a confirmed member source identifies them, every made member has more than one source. Also, I saw a Joseph Gambino with 20+ in parentheses. That's a fairly common name so that's where I got the idea that it was different people with the same name.

Def Albano and leaning Bedami.

5 could be Digerlando

The 1991 FDLe report had some different guys, like Carollo, Amorelli, and Valenti.

Snakes wrote: Sun Nov 28, 2021 3:18 pm I ran across some LCN membership numbers from a June, 1993 FBI report. Note that these are only concerning *identified* members:

Bonanno: 88
Buffalo: 49
Chicago (including Rockford): 48
Cleveland: 7
Colombo: 118
DeCavalcante: 33
Denver: 3
Detroit: 28
Gambino: 209
Genovese: 162
Kansas City: 20
Los Angeles: 18
Lucchese: 110
Milwaukee: 14
New England: 64
New Orleans: 2
Philadelphia: 59
Pittsburgh: 11
Pittston (Bufalino): 15
Rochester: 32
San Francisco: 4
San Jose: 10
St. Louis: 10
Tampa: 10
Tucson: 2

TOTAL: 1,125

Included in those numbers are incarcerated members, which are as follows:

Bonanno: 10
Buffalo: 1
Chicago: 9
Cleveland: 3
Colombo: 19
DeCavalcante: 3
Denver: 1
Detroit: 1
Gambino: 24
Genovese: 16
Kansas City: 5
Los Angeles: 0
Lucchese: 20
Milwaukee: 0
New England: 27
New Orleans: 0
Philadelphia: 27
Pittsburgh: 2
Pittston (Bufalino): 1
Rochester: 13
San Francisco: 0
San Jose: 0
St. Louis: 2
Tampa: 0
Tucson: 0

TOTAL: 184

I am most surprised at the DeCavalcante having only 33 members. That was almost 30 years ago!

I have long suspected they are just a crew for the Gambino's at this point. Anyone want to provide evidence that proves otherwise? Let's see it.

Fact it, no one knows who the administration is anymore. No one knows Capos. There are just a handful of soldiers left.

This is just a crew of old timers just making book and talking about the good old times....

DEAD FAMILY except in name only.

Does anyone know if there as another John Bonventre? I'm not sure when Bonanno's uncle Giovanni died, so I don't know if they're the same.

It's interesting that they included Bill in their list, but not Joseph. I guess Joe is counted under Tucson, but even though Bill was in California at the time(as far as I remember), I wonder why he's listed with the New York guys.

I wonder why Vitale is un redacted. At first I wondered if it was because he testified publicly, but Massino's name is still redacted. Same thing with Vincent Asaro, but I wonder if they mixed him and Vincenzo Asaro, even though he died in 1970.
