Interesting if it is true that Bongiovanni's uncle was a made man like Lou Selva indicated in his testimony at the first trial.

Lou also testified that Bongiovanni had dated Dana Panepinto in High School and college. She later married Joey Todaro (III). They are now divorced.

Of course Sonny "AttaBoy" Blackstein doesn't find it interesting that Bongiovanni dated "Turtle's" daughter in high school and college. He is too busy watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off reruns to memorize little quips than to actually follow anything of substance or comment with more than an AttaBoy to someone's post he likes.

Lou Selva testified that Peter called Bongiovanni to get his brother Anthony out of jam and Bongiovanni obliged by getting a hold of his contacts in the Amherst Police Dept

Mark Falzone testifies that he ran decoy if cops got behind Serio and Anthony Gerace on their trip to meet one of his Canadians connections in NYCity to get their drug shipment. Apparently Anthony loaned Serio $80,000 for this. Remember Serio testified that he had Masecchia set a meeting with Butch BiFulco to get those Canadian drug connectiosn so he could control the market in WNY.Image

...Finally, I find it intriguing that there are Vacanti's in the Coppola family tree. The Vacanti family name has long been tied to mob related drug trafficking in Buffalo. Makes the Bongiovanni/Pierri/Alessi comments on the Monty Masimmi obituary I pointed out a couple years ago even more interesting. Remember Masimmi was murdered by Sam Vacanti (allegedly over a drug trafficking dispute). See this post and posts that immediately follow: http://theblackhand.club/forum/viewtopi ... 50#p140550
Mario Vacanti was involved in the Serio Drug trafficking organization. Mario is Sam Vacant's brother. I've long contended that Sam Vacanti's murder of Monty Masimmi was mob related even though an article at that time discounted the idea.

Interesting, Katrina Nigro testified that Todaro Sr. had a residence or lived in Sicily for a time saying: "His grandfather lived at number 18 on a property in Sicily.

FBI Agent starts to talk about his investigation into cold LCN Homicides, then is asked if that is synonymous with IOC, to which he responds yes and then is told to use the term IOC whenever he speaks about LCN in Buffalo.

Why are they so adamant about not using any terms like LCN, mafia and shit like that?

Because then they would have to admit that all their FBI peers were wrong when they said it was dead in all the statements, interviews, and articles going back to the 90s. This term doesnt throw them all under the bus per se

it influences the jury, if the government could just throw around the word Mafia imagine how hard it would be to mount a defense.

also what direct evidence do they have that has direct Mafia involvement in this case ? I haven't seen any
