That was the situation as of 2010. We don't know how many 'ndrine there are now, as there haven't been any updates coming from Canadian or Italian law-enforcement reports, Italian arrest warrants, or trials. The murder of Carmine Verduci in April 2014 was significant, as he might have been the leader of the locale of the seven or so 'ndrine up till the time of his death.
The way I understand it he was representing Antonio Coluccio.
Representing Coluccio up till April 2014? I'll tailor my next reply after reading what you post.
I believe he was a member of the Coluccio clan, so when Coluccio was deported he was acting on his behalf up until he was killed.

Didn't he have a brother still in Canada or does this, along with the murder of Verducci, end the Coluccios presence in Canada?

Giuseppe was deported to Italy after he was arrested in August 2008.

Antonio was deported in 2010 in either late June or early July; his wife (Carmelo Bruzzese's daughter) and children went with him. As readers of Business or Blood... know, in November of that year, he arrived in New York City and then travelled to Niagara Falls (American side). I don't know whether his wife and kids stayed put in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica or whether they have travelled back and forth between Calabria and Ontario.

Salvatore was caught and arrested in Calabria in May 2009. I recall that he left Canada in 2005, the same year he had arrived.

The Crown is seeking a sentence for Scopelliti the equivalent of 11 years; the Defence, a sentence of 7 years. The judge has between now and Wednesday, September 5 to deliberate--the latter date is when Scopelliti will be sentenced.

He will get 1.5 days' credit for every 1 day in pre-trial custody (which includes up to his sentencing date of September 5; I've calculated close to 48 months). The two sides agreed to an additional 5 months of enhanced credit, which will reduce the length of time he is in the penitentiary to serve his sentence.
Domenico Scopelliti was given a sentence of 10 years this morning in relation to the murder of his father-in-law, Rocco Zito.

Scopelliti was in detention for 951 days; therefore, he received credit for 1,426.5 days, or 47.5 months. He also received credit for another four months, for a total of 51.5 months.

Therefore, the total time he will serve in the penitentiary will be 5 years, 8.5 months. After he is released, he will be on probation for life.

And another one. I believe Pat Musitano is the right age for the victim. He was living in Hamilton at the time that shots were fired into his home in 2017, but it is possible that he could have moved to Ancaster? I am sure a name will come out today.
