Police and underworld sources said Piero Arena had incurred significant debts, especially with the Rizzuto family. It was possibly for this reason that he was shot.
At the 2:50 mark of the accompanying video, Séguin reaffirms that Arena also had ties to the «clan Rizzuto».
Interesting to know that he used to be close with cotroni since Arena is a very sicilian name, he almost certainly was sicilian. I’m assuming these were drug related dens given his history.

Is anyone else having trouble watching that video Anti shared above? I've been trying to watch it for like the past hour and it just keeps freezing on me 30 seconds in. I don't think it's a connection issue on my end though.
