Thanks for the info nickleNickleCity wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 2:54 pmMatt Ricchiazzi is quite the character in Buffalo. It’s, also, interesting to see the history of advertisers on his site. Until recently one of the advertisers on all the subpages was prominent on the front for years as well. Matt has regularly defended that family and their business against OC connections on social media and in reply to news articles.

Never doubted stroccos integrity. When it comes to present day mob knowledge whats on here is what im limited too. As, junior soprano says im so far behind the race some people (like myself) actually think theyre leading.

This came out of the Italian side of the Operation Old Bridge investigation:
Subsequent investigative activities carried out in Palermo...also highlight the continuing contacts in 2004 between Giovanni Inzerillo and Canadian mafia exponents.
In this regard, reference is made to the telephone and personal contacts registered in Palermo in the summer of 2004, with subjects from Canada, such as Iulian Rondini and Julian Mordacca, indicated as close to the mafia family of the Commissos, and orbiting in the Canadian criminal association headed by Peter Scarcella of Toronto, the latter linked to the criminal organization operating in Montreal, headed by Vito Rizzuto.
Inzerillo and Filippo Casamento's visit to Toronto is well-known where they met with Michele Modica and Michele Marrese, but Inzerillo was also placing calls from Palermo to Ontario and contacting Commisso / Scarcella associates. I've never heard of Rondini or Mordacca.

The Italian authorities suspected it involved drug trafficking. Mafia leaders in Porto Empedocle were recorded around the same time discussing how the return of the Inzerillos meant they would be able to deal much larger quantities of drugs through the Inzerillos' ties. The Old Bridge document mentions these Porto Empedocle mafia conversations in context with Inzerillo's Canadian contacts.
The Porto Empedocle connection stands out, as Gambino member Paul Semplice's family is from Porto Empedocle and he has visited there in recent years. He is a member of Lorenzo Mannino's decina, which is also tied closely to the Inzerillos. Semplice was doing business with Ontario-based Bonanno member Vincenzo Morena during Morena's cooperation.
So even though the Old Bridge reference is from 2004, we can see some of the same connections and locations come up in recent years.

The 2 Julians, sicilian mafiosi, but the name Julian is very French, right?
They most likely grew up in Canada, you think? Or are they transplant/ transfers?
