This article with the link below from Scott Burnstein says that he wanted to kill Salemme Jr until Flemmi persuaded him not to.

Well he lived in the North End so of course he would have known them back then.

Yes they were. At least Ralph was in the early 1980s.

Was Darin Bufalino inducted into the mob by Salemme? I think that he worked with Mark Rossetti before he was revealed to be an informant.

We were just talking about this on the baby shacks informant thread. Someone posted a document that Flemmi said Salemme was made by Ray Sr. in early 80s. I did not think that added up. I know Flemmi is not a reliable source. This gives some clarity thank you Pmac

what happened to Nicky Giso?I think that he was a made guy in the crime family who according to the book Black Mass hung around with Bulger and Flemmi in places such as the Lancaster street garage.

Actually Joe black lived in Medford most of his adult life
Just another fun fact wiseguy can’t research on Wikipedia

He was in town almost daily . Loved playing cards at the club in the basement on hanover st . Joe was a good guy
Dry sense of humor . His brother not so much
Serious as cancer all the time . Not a bad guy either just very serious man not someone you could joke with

Joe especially loved bingo. He was really good st it. His favorite color was blue and he liked salty corn chips chased with ice cold domestic beer. His favorite movie was On the Waterfront. You can't research that on Wikipedia.

Any more making ceremonies since 2014? I think someone said on here recently that Folcarelli turned it down.

Yes word is he turned it down. That could changed. But from everything I’ve heard regarding Albie, he didn’t want it.
