Re: Montagna plan
Bonanno was around 26 when he became boss…lol I know totally different times and a different world then. Id have to think he still had people he (Bonanno)really leaned on in helping him running the family at first…to speculate. He had all those experienced guys around him that had been in that life ...

Re: Nepotism in the mob

Re: Bushwick in the seventies

Sal Montana seems to have come out of the Bronx faction..not sure if you guys any experience with him coming up? I know how he was younger than Amato but not sure what was thought of those ...

Re: Bushwick in the seventies
Thanks Ridegewood. Was it pretty much all Sicilians in Bushwick then when there were still Italians there? Were there any other Italians (Neapolitans, Calabrese, Puglians) in that part of Brooklyn, specifically Bushwick area, that you knew of then when you were a kid?

Re: Bushwick in the seventies
Ridgewood 79… That you know of is the Bonanno Family connection to Sicily still strong in regards to bringing guys over from Sicily? I know not in the case that that was happening with Galante and the drug pipline with specific reason of moving drugs and that pipeline but more in regards of the ties...

Re: The Book That Hasn't Been Written
Michael Dileonardo doing an in depth book with his family and historical history up and through to his life up through the time he cooperated would be very interesting. Also, Vincent Palermo or Anthony Rotondo would be interesting to get deeper insight into Decavalcante history. Their knowledge and ...

Re: Bonanno 1960s chart
Wasn’t Sylvester Carollo(a), New Orleans boss, from Terrasini as well. Wonder if there was a relation with Carollo on this Vito Licavolis’ mother side as well.
