One of the redacted names is former consigliere / acting boss Joe Yacovelli who was one of the leaders in the attempted coup. Chicago's attendance is similar to Giancana attending the Philly Commission meeting in the late 50s where they mediated the Pollina / Bruno dispute. That's very interesting....

Do we have any evidence that the Chicago family didn't "make guys like New York"? I know we know by the 80's they did, but I'll often hear "well that didn't start until Aiuppa was Boss since he was more traditional". But do we have any proof that they never did before this?
